CheThere is obviously a seller (hopes it's not another director) so the share price will trend lower. I hope in the longer term the business model runs as the Company has guided, if it does a decent rerating should come about.VGLTA

Np Sean.I did hours and hours of research into this stock again over the weekend.Jack up rigs demand is still there, the floaters market is where demand has fallen most and we don't serve that market.I would advise watching the presentation video, I'm listened to it a few times now and Duncan says both at the beginning and the end that business is seeing signs of recovery. He also says they expect to pick up some contracts the next few months and the pioneering cantilever systems will give us further business. We are lower cost than rivals so our utilisation rates are 20 percentage rates higher.

Thanks che for that. The recent share price movement does not seem as positive as the management's decision in maintaining the divi. I still believe the CEO's recent share sale will take some time to cease to be seen as a negative.Long term I think these will come good as they are Opex focused which in the current environment is a saviour.VGLTA

Sean, The dividend is forecast to be maintained, I don't really know why they didn't cut it, were they really so confident before oils recent rise.

Anyone know if the divi will be maintained in light of current cutback in activity. The share price has taken a hammering in the last few weeks on no real change in the outlook.

Contact the registrar named on the certs. If you cannot trace the registrar named on your share certs (maybe they too have changed names or gone out of business), contact one of the UK's three main registrars who may be able to help. These are: Equiniti (equiniti.com), 0871 384 2030; Capita (capita.co.uk), 0871 664 0300; and Computershare (computershare.com), 0870 702 0003.

Someone really does not like these. The CEO selling at 50p seems to have been a well timed decision. Let's hope he has the same success for the loyal shareholders.GLTA

Putin seems keen:hTtp://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2016-10-10/putin-says-russia-ready-to-freeze-or-even-cut-output-with-opecHpcg, yes, I agree.Fwiw, been in contact with the company, they would say this but the CEO sold in a short timescale for personal reasons. His reduction I'm told doesn't reflect his views on GMS as an investment and wasn't in his own interests.Anyway, I think the trough in cycle has suddenly moved forwards and a deal next month in cutting supply seems likely.Once that happens, Capex related work will pick up. The fact they are maintaining a dividend here shows confidence or foolishness, I'm banking on the former! And this made before oil started rising in Sept.

Re director sell

Fwiw I'm told it was for personal reasons and in no way a reflection of his view on the investment case.
