This tracks with the Turkish economic strategy. Russian supplies are non-grata and everything else is maxed out (earliest new connections from Azerbaijan et al. are 2027). Petrol prices in Ankara are up 100%+ since closing of the pipeline and getting inflation under control is Erdogen's #1. The Kurdish pipelines are the only real option, especially if they want something quick. Let's see if Baghdad and Erbil can come together for once instead of continually bickering!
