Another month for a resolution by the looks of it. Resumption from June is fine in the bigger picture. The transition from local sales to ITP will also take a month from what I recall from previous discussions.

Fingers cross that things are moving in the right direction going into the bank holiday weekend The Iraqi Oil Ministry will meet with two committees early next week to re-export Kurdistan oil and adjust contracts. There are also representatives of the Kurdistan Region in the committees.Iraqi Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Affairs and Oil Minister Hayan Abdul Ghani spoke to the media after being hosted by the Iraqi Parliament's Oil and Gas Committee on the attack on the Kormor field, oil exports and contracts with the Kurdistan Region."You know that there has been no agreement with the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) on the transfer of oil produced in the Kurdistan Region to the Federal Oil Ministry."The amount is that the oil companies operating in the Kurdistan Region produce 375,000 barrels of oil per day, 46,000 barrels of which go to operate some refineries, and the remaining 329,000 barrels should be given to the Iraqi Oil Marketing Company," he said. -use of second pipeline will be discussed to avoid paying Rosneft
-they will have a cup of tea and a biscuit

what will happen, probably nothing - hopefully another meeting which might bring all parties closer together...

My interpretation is that Iraq as usual are camel trading as they will never treat the Kurds as equals.

these people know how to talk, but they sure as hell hell don't seem to realise that to hash out a deal everyone needs to come to a compromise and walk out feeling they have gained something...

as for talking share buybacks or dividends, i agree with bigdog, it would be suicide to do something like that atm, they need sales and a fighting fund to keep them in the game....

I note that there is still a few peeps here and over on the uva bb that believe the company should do a buyback or give out a divi. Bearing in mind the uncertain situation the company is in that would be a huge mistake. The company have done well to keep going with local sales and reduced costs. However, they need to retain a large sum at bank as a buffer to anything that SOMO could "request". Not having the buffer could lead to the same situation that arose back in 2015.

Hey Mr Pender, have you worked out how many posts from Carroll the CON from Stockport has written from all her bogus monikers (100+ of them)in over 10 years? Around two hundred thousand plus and every one of them total BS as history has proved. Whereas I get the vast majority of mine correct.

Then there's all the BS from johnylady boy and scotty snowflake and sarah the queen lemming and Hills the cross dresser and nestofBS. They all have multiple monikers peddling their BS. Then of course there's all the BS liars that have departed this bb who as history has proved were posting BS.
