K24 – Hawler:The spokesman of the Kurdistan Oil Industry Association (Epicur) said that they are pleased with the formation of a joint committee between Erbil and Baghdad on the export of oil from the Kurdistan Region through the Turkish World Pipeline.Miles Caggins, spokesman of the Kurdistan Oil Industry Association (Epicur), told Kurdistan24 that the members of Epicur are very excited and want to participate in the meeting of the joint committee between members of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Iraqi Oil."We have a contract with the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) and if any changes are made, we must be aware of them. International oil companies must participate in the meetings," he said.He added that the meeting between the members of the Ministry of Natural Resources of the Kurdistan Regional Government and the Iraqi Ministry of Oil should have been held long ago. "We thought Sudan's visit to Washington was an incentive for his government to resume oil exports," he said."Erdogan and his team are very anxious to resume oil exports. Kurdistan APIKUR Oil exports
ERBIL (Kurdistan24) – The Association of the Petroleum Industry of Kurdistan (APIKUR) on Friday in a statement welcomed the formation of the Baghdad-Erbil committees.

“Recently announced by the Iraqi Minister of Oil with the stated goal to restore oil exports through the IraqTürkiye pipeline. We are awaiting official notification of international oil companies’ role in these critical negotiations," the statement read.

Hayyan Abdul Ghani, Iraq's Oil Minister, told Kurdistan24 earlier that the production and export of oil from Kurdistan Region fields would be resumed.

Meanwhile, Kurdistan24 was informed by the Director General of SOMO that their recent meetings with the Kurdistan Regional Government and the Ministry of Natural Resources in Erbil were positive on the issue of Kurdistan Region oil export to Turkish Ceyhan Port. The Turkish side is making preparations for export.
