Same here 71 going on 72, can live quite cheaply - but with this 14 year fiasco I have missed the best years to enjoy a comfortable retirement - stopped getting excited many years ago with all the false dawns, but I really think something will have to give this time - let's see what the weekend brings.

This excerpt from the Iraqi PM’ speech in parliament provides one of the clearest explanations of the rationale for resuming KRG oil exports.

He explains that some of the KRG oil is currently being unofficially exported through Iran, which may constitute sanctions evasion and a violation of the international arbitration ruling stipulating that only the Iraqi federal government has the right to export oil. He adds that he has been sent to Iran to request an end to these unauthorized transactions.

The Prime Minister also highlights that daily fines imposed by Turkey due to the pipeline stoppage have compounded the financial losses.

He further clarifies that the interim $16 production cost agreed for KRG oil is an average derived from the $6/barrel cost in federally managed oil fields and the $26/barrel cost claimed by companies operating in the Kurdistan region.

Meanwhile as the share price plummets the delusional fantasists are yet again forced to post up 10 year old irrelevant and out of date data. Any normal company if they believed in the old data would be shouting about it every day. They would also have been able to add a considerable amount of Reserves in all that time from all the wells.

The fact that they never have speaks volumes!! This point is clearly explained by them having to use Resources in the CPR in order to make the numbers look far better than they are. Also, with water found where they always stated there was sludge they ought to have been revising down the Reserves just as other companies in the Land of Delusion have been forced to do. Genel is a prime example.

Rather strange that the Oil world don't believe in the old data and that none of Kozel bragged barrels have been discovered despite there now being 18 wells.

As for the water required by Kirkuk imho the company have their own supply they can use to force the sludge out. However, another strange issue is the fact that as more wells have come on line the average amount being produced from said wells is materially falling. This, as I've mentioned several times before is due to the fact that the additional wells are "stealing" the sludge from the original wells.

Just more facts that you delusional fantasists refuse to accept or ignore yet the evidence is all there.

Btw, just where could the share price drop to if the reading fails again tomorrow and they run out of Parliamentary time??
