21/3/2024 15:30 | "8% of the Reserves gone. Any claw back will require negotiation and is therefore an unknown and cannot be taken for granted." Why will it require negotiation then Sarah. Negotiation with who. Where have they gone. | habshan

21/3/2024 15:25 | 8% of the Reserves gone. Huge reduction just like many of the other oily's were forced to do!! If there were anyone looking at the company (there isn't) they would focus on the Reserves which have now seen a reduction of 8%. Any claw back will require negotiation and is therefore an unknown and cannot be taken for granted. Companies (when interested) don't buy pie in the sky like you rampers desperately tell yourselves!! | bigdog5
21/3/2024 13:51 | Sounds like they might consider a dividend at the back end of 2024, pipeline or no pipeline. But amI right in thinking they are expecting ok hoping to have a restored position by Q4. All sounds pretty positive to me, but Rome not built in a day. | plasybryn
21/3/2024 13:51 | kenjen - "#BREAKING: Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia' al-Sudani is set to visit Erbil on Thursday and attend an iftar gathering with Kurdistan Region Prime Minister Masrour Barzani." Sudani certainly doesn't need to go to Erbil for supper and a chinwag, he's going because he wants to and because he's on the side of the Kurds He was put in position by Nouri al-Maliki and the Coordination Framework. He changed his approach toward them and came to disagree with many of their political positions. And al-Maliki certainly didn't expect him to get chummy with the Kurds. “The party fears that Al Sudani may announce the formation of a new political party or alliance, run in the upcoming elections, and become the ruling political majority in Iraq,” the source added. "Al Sudani has spurned many political allies and opponents. He did not support former Speaker of Parliament Mohamed al-Halbousi and worked for his removal. He also removed most of the leaders of the Popular Mobilization Forces, a group of Iranian-backed militias from government positions. Prime Minister Mohammed Shia’ Al Sudani is strikingly popular among the Iraqi people, but the parties who once supported him are organizing to take him down. Iraq’s ruling coalition plans to call for early elections in an attempt to overthrow Prime Minister Mohammed Shia’ Al Sudani. Al Sudani belongs to the Coordination Framework, an alliance of Shiite parties loyal to Iran. But after assuming the premiership, Al Sudani changed his approach toward the parties and came to disagree with many of their political positions." | habshan

21/3/2024 11:58 | "You've just seen 8% of the "stated" Reserves wiped out!! Interesting how they've come to that conclusion as well." What's interesting Sarah is that you can't understand a simple paperwork procedure that's just been put in front of you in basic English. The reserves haven't gone anywhere or been "wiped out", their recovery has simply been pushed back beyond the 2043 expiry of the PSC due to the lost development time over the last year. Once the pipeline reopens and the field development restarts and the picture becomes clearer a new CPR will be commissioned and those reserves can be moved back to within the license period. "We expect to commission an updated Competent Person's Report, including a comprehensive independent assessment of 1P and 2P reserves and 2C resources, at the appropriate time once the operating environment has normalised." I would imagine that once a figure can be put on the length of the pipeline closure then the IOCs will be looking for a commensurate extension of their contracts to compensate if they aren't already part of the negotiations. They certainly have very strong grounds for such an extension as the pipeline closure was outwith their control. So all is well, try to keep up ffs. | habshan

21/3/2024 11:15 | So where is Carroll's takeover, buybacks and divi? And you idiots tick Carroll up!!! Now that's desperation. Add a few more bogus monikers Carroll. Nothing bad you idiots say!!!!! You've just seen 8% of the "stated" Reserves wiped out!! Interesting how they've come to that conclusion as well. That will obviously be on the conservative side won't it!! How strange you all ignore that huge point innit:-) I don't know wtf scotty snowflake is trying to say now apart from its just more lies and BS as usual but what is fact is that its almost 12 months from scotty's "the pipe will be open in a few days" and Day 81 of her "the pipe will be open soon"!!! Just two of her predictions to be added to her "the budget is agreed" and "the oil law will follow soon"!!! Ramp away clueless suckers. | bigdog5
21/3/2024 11:15 | profit is $6million per month now - hugetakeaway is right though wrong about expecting any dividends or buybacks... they need to make sure they have cash in the bank for as long as the itp issue is unresolved, realised local prices and demand vary.... | mmt1 |
