Actually, some are backed by fiat or gold. So that mitigates a little bit of the risk. Others? Wild West come to mind.

Re Maliki Beernut's link - I had no doubt that Maliki was saying those things about Muqtada al-Sadr but the article was making out that that fact had only just been proven . If that is right then hopefully he will have his collar felt soon ??? The sooner he is disgraced the soon we get HCL imo.

HSBC, looking at previous divi payments then I’m expecting early next week, anything before will be a bonus, so best to just chill Ozz and enjoy the wait 🙄🤷‍♂️😬

FWIW, if anyone wants some fun while they wait for GKP, look at the T68s. These are taking the brunt of distressed leveraged selling and have the scope to double and more. The global debt mountain still warrants negative real yields and the T68s are heavily geared plays.DYOR IMHO etc

santa the GKP story has been very gruelling for LT PIs some of them have gone loopy after 13 years . DFSGs has a language all of it's own that the uninitiated will not find helpful, therefore any sane person would filter most the posters.

Broadford on LSE 40 minutes ago - "The June payment is now 104 days overdue."

104 days takes us back to the 1st of July.

The day after the invoice was submitted.

So if the invoice isn't paid the day after it was submitted then it's overdue.

Where in the world can you expect to get payment terms like that.

You couldn't make it up. Talk about desperate.
