So GKP in 9 months has given out $205 Mn in Divis which is approx 40% of it's Mk cap and the Mail on Sunday Finance section hasn't commented about it ! Back along when GKP was being ramped by the City they couldn't wait to comment , funny init.

An Interim dividend was announced on 02/09/2021 for $50m, since then there have been five further dividend announcements up to and including the last one. Here are the amounts and dates:

Announced Amount
24/01/2022 $50m (Interim)
30/03/2022 $65m (Interim)
30/03/2022 $25m (Final)
25/05/2022 $50m (Special)
01/09/2022 $25m (Interim)

So on historical info., we should have a further dividend announcement early next year.

However, GKP paying dividends is fairly new, so the actual dates could be anytime. Regarding the amounts, I would expect less than the above as we have recently spent $100m to clear debt and Capex should also be higher, however payments should also increase. So without a Crystal Ball nobody can be exact, so fingers crossed 🤞🤞🤞

The oil price mkt is extraordinary and complex.
What is for sure is that gambling on prices is on an enormous scale.
So a mismatch between futures and actual real demand pricing exists , and is exascerbated at times of feast or famine.
Remember when prices went negative and hugely more option contracts in oil were traded than oil physically existed!
It would take only a small negative supply side event to really skew POO a lot higher, as real demand many believe to be very tight, and a scramble by all the countries requiring to secure physical stocks could rocket the price.

H7, yes but as the OPEC countries are currently 3.5m short of its daily production a drop of 2million 'officially' will not be noticed. It's more political.

OPEC+ cuts oil output

The intergovernmental organization agreed this week to cut output by 2 million barrels of oil per day. As some members of the cartel are already producing below their targets, Goldman Sachs Research estimates the reductions are effectively a cut of 1.2 million barrels per day (as compared with their previous expectations for November output).

Our analysts raised their oil price forecast by $10 per barrel to $110 for the last three months of the year and to $115 for the first quarter of 2023. “Price risks are skewed potentially even higher,” says Damien Courvalin, head of energy research in Goldman Sachs Research.
