In percentage terms how likely are the central government (or others) to seize and nationalise the likes of GKP?

"Has the company ever said that is their plan or is it just wishful thinking by some people on this forum"

For 'wishful' replace with 'desperate'. The company did announce back in 2015/16 they were up for sale, opened a Data Room and bragged that 18 different companies turned up but they were only there for the wine, coffee and cheesy comestibles.

There was the famous Xom "mull" over a decade ago but that was just a ruse from Kozel trying to get the share price up so that he could sell millions of shares in order to pay off his ex wife. Later on Xom bought some licences, one next to shaiCON, drilled it, found zero and have since departed Koruptistan.

Leading up to the 14th July 2016 shareholder wipeout there were rumours of offers of around £1ps that came to nothing.

Then there was an offer of cash/shares from DNO of approx £1ps around wipeout time before DNO reduced it to account for more of a cash deal. DNO then walked away!!!

Since then absolutely no interest shown which isn't surprising as its taken the company since December 2014 to to add 3k barrels a day to production. Meanwhile they've been finding water where they expected there was oil, the Reserves have decreased and need another reduction due to the water and the recent wells being way below expectations.

The rampers here will try and come up with their usual BS excuses but that's the story.

Has harriethighlander7 been out to see Kozel, her legend yet, the one that lied to those that didn't ought to be lied to and is now banged up?

You're welcome as always to the facts and reality that are usually bogged down by loads of BS.

They are playing poker with each other. Lets see who blinks first.
But its the ICG who need most of the $70 billion in aid.

Biden trying to knock heads together again , doesn't seem to be having much effect atm . Kadhimi is his man but what about the rest.

There are loads of countries that are not boycotting Russia as they see the Ukr war as none of their business and need to do business , they will pay what Russia asks .

Its all coming to a head in Kurdistan IMO and its long overdue.

Biden should have intervened long ago , regarding Irans control over the ICG. Because he isnt going to get any help from the Saudi's - even if it were possible.

Then the West/EU need Oil and Gas quickly , before the winter sets in , and Putin really will turn on the screws by selling his oil elsewhere. Even if they do want it.

The next few weeks and months will be "interesting" to say the least.

I've been in this since just before Christmas and all I read is people talking about a take over. Has the company ever said that is their plan or is it just wishful thinking by some people on this forum. I think nearly every share I am in there are people talking about take overs but few happen.

I would expect that Baghdad have considered any possible damages claims against them and have probably had a good larf about it. Who is going to calculate the numbers, johnyboy? Who will make them pay up, lol.

So clueless rampers I would temper your excitement innit:-)

ptm you make a valid point however its likely that rationing will be forced on all/many countries.

Loads of oil reaching the market from those that "ignore" quotas and under sanctions.

Its all about those that are trying to claw back their pandemic losses. Like the Saudis imo.

@Muttley, Saudia Arabia has said there is going to be a shortfall in the amount of oil that the USA requires as it is unable to completely make up this difference. The question is where will the US get its oil from before their natives get upset as they would be unable to drive the 5 miles for their full fat, extra large McBurger, large fries and attendant diet coke....?

So it would appear you rampers are unaware of an eminent Global law firm with a huge presence in London takes the view that the situation favours Baghdad.

However, whatever the outcome Baghdad will keep going until they get what they want and it appears you rampers are oblivious to what they can do to get it.

Could that be another reason why the company paid two divis close together and that they're paying the bond debt early?

I really don't believe the KRG can rely on the Yanks to help them solve their issues as they've got massive problems elsewhere of far more importance they're trying to get to grips with.

You're welcome.

I know what you mean. I've been here so long I would like to see some kind of merger so I could continue with the story. I believe that may happen rather than a straight sale. Hope so anyway.
