I agree Gaisman... this project is too big for little old GKP. But there wont be a takeover before christmas. Its too obvious to flag the FDP submission and then announce takeover.... a takeover will come out of nowhere.. but not before christmas

I think I'll playTakeover is indeed highly likely before Xmas imo.Q4 for the new FDP is a very natural watershed.MNR definitely won't want GKP running the next decades development!SHAIKAN requires IOC probably, actually a consortium most likely it's so big. I also expect a sale very soon.

Brent didn't drop c.10%, hc and the trade will show up when completed. This drop is GKP specific. Genel dropped 5p or 3%. The trade might show today if the volume improves. :-)

M&A Price per Bll paid for reserves will be much higher now POO is getting to realistic levels, especially Elephant fields with the cheapest production costs going. How much oil is there then? The Chinese study put it at 3.8% FP and GKP say it's 0.7 % . Time for the FDP and final CPR I think.

It seems the sentiment bashers must continue to disallow the most obvious.GKP was always a project company.To 55k whilst new owners did tech DD.Then a new FDP for the serious growth by IOC(s)I see we have repetitive , "no takeover before Xmas" denying avatars , very transparently denying what is highly likely!And profitable for holders!"SOLD BEFORE CHRISTMAS" most likely In this Q4 watershed.

They're waiting for the O&G Law to be passed, h7, imo. Meantime the mm's try to push up the share price on no volume? The games being played get boring at times but just sticking in there is the answer. It can't go on forever and, as you say, they do need to fast track.
