If I was the KRG I would be pushing for large production increases ASAP. This Oil Price wont last for ever. GKP do not have the resources or skillset to fast track production to 110k bbls/day. My only surprise is why we are not sold or are they waiting for the Elections ?

Takeover is indeed highly likely before Xmas imo.Q4 for the new FDP is a very natural watershed.MNR definitely won't want GKP running the next decades development!SHAIKAN requires IOC probably, actually a consortium most likely it's so big. I also expect a sale very soon.

Even if GKP is sold It will be for peanuts! Do you really think that's the Kurds will put shareholders first! You got to be joking right. There may be a minimal uplift to the prevailing share price at the time, but as long as the Kurd Mnr company directors and any other cronies associated with this company have their palms well greased, the deal will go ahead.
