Hi hydro, no I know you aren't, it was just a general comment and wasn't directed at you or anyone in particular.

Today's price action was just normal day to day shenanigans imo and it should settle down again in a day or two, and I fully agree that the current $84 is a great price which is the point I was trying to make.

Looking forward to the next update, it should be an interesting one.

Habshan- not worried at all. I was in GKP before 1st well drilled. Back in for good reasons and very familiar with markets. Only mentioned Brent as some peeps don't seem to understand it's significance. I would be content if it steadied out here.

Just chill everyone. This same price action happened after the previous dividend payout. And then continued to make yearly highs. All done to spook weak divi reinvestors into cutting their losses.

SOLD BEFORE CHRISTMASHERES WHY ( well ONE OF MANY OBVIOUS REASONS. :) )Imo the co has done their best to flag that to 55K is THEIR PROJECT, and the serious scale field development another thing altogether.If the MNR wanted little old Gkp to do it ,they would have agreed the new FDP years ago .It's been talked about for 5years!!!lolThe company is telling you.Q4 - transition - SOLD to big boys.$100m dividend a year ++. If they had any intention of staying independent operator to 110k and beyond they would use this huge FCF to fund a bond issue instead ....that would raise all the cash they would need to grow. Debt investors would be falling over themselves to finance a company with such a strong covenant. But they paying it OUT instead!!!!! TAKEOVER friendly or otherwise now INEVITABLE . Hostile competition looking far more LIKELY than previous.. FDP submission coming this Q4 will have new OPERATORS NAME on it.
