Seems like highlander7 is intent on proving he's a clueless clown on several different subjects.

Tell us about the gas flaring again h7 and that the company and hosts don't give a to$$ about it as its one of your several classics.

"Looking like last desperate attempt to steal our shares."

First posted over ten years ago and hundred's of times since.

Poor old h7 getting his opinions wrong again. Does he not know that there are London buses that run on hydrogen? The Japs are well advanced with hydorogen technology. The Yanks have battery tech that is allgedly being hushed up as no one is brave enough to announce that oil can be replaced now and if it was what would happen to the world economy and those that depend on it.

Still not worked out why S13 has taken such a long time Mr ex petrol pump attendant?

Pensioner its the Ice caps that will destroy the world.

As for the "survey" done by the Chinese it wasn't a full blown assessment of shaiCON. They didn't need to as just looking at a few wells and pressures told them all they need to know before walking away. 18 companies in the Data room walked away. DNO walked away. Xom walked away.

As for nestofBS talking about pumping for 80 years, you suckers aint got a scooby.

"China is so worried about the winter that it ordered its top energy companies to buy up supplies, no matter the cost"

Probably why they are also looking at GENEL ?

Bloomberg

The global energy supply crunch, triggered by a whole host of causes, is biting harder and encroaching further into daily life from Europe to Asia. There’s a shortage of the second-most abundant element on the planet, and even the breakfast table is under threat. A severe drought in Brazil is set to ravage production of orange juice, sugar and coffee. The energy crisis has wreaked havoc in Europe, prompting U.K. Prime Minister Boris Johnson to put the army on standby to ease a fuel shortage. All told, it spells trouble for the rest of the world’s politicians. China is so worried about the winter that it ordered its top energy companies to buy up supplies, no matter the cost. But as David Fickling writes in Bloomberg Opinion, never let a good energy crisis go to waste.

Bunlop that may be what politicians want you to believe but it is not true. There are 2 issues with hydrogen.

(1) a 4% mixture of hydrogen and air is explosive and any passing vehicle through this cloud will ignite it.

(2) A hydrogen vapour cloud causes a boiling liquid expanding vapour explosion - or a flash fire. (BLEVE.

I suggest you do some research then you will see why we havent extensively used hydrogen in vehicles despite the fact the technology for using it has existed for decades. When I lived in the highlands I used to run my 4*4 on LNG. ( yes I know LNG is methane but the same hazards exist )

Yes you can make a bullet proof tank but it is heavy , expensive and will still fail. Then we have the hydrogen lines to the engine etc...plenty of leak paths in a collision.

The company is to my knowledge the only one that updates their main shareholder list religiously, and generally every 2 weeks.Imo around 15-25%of the shares outside the top 10 are in lots of nominee accounts, all below 3% and their is ZERO obligation for the beneficial owners identify to be declared.Indeed the beneficial owners of Lansdowne and UBS , could be anywhere.

Don't forget this little gem at the foot of the shareholder analysis page on Gulf's website:

"The Company’s share register analysis was provided by Orient Capital, based on information available at the time of publication."

It isn't Gulf saying those are the ten major shareholders; it's a third party. They aren't even saying they are the ten largest shareholders. Why would Gulf need to do this when they hold the share register and know where every share is? After all, at the top of the page they state this:

"As at 15 September 2021 the Company’s issued share capital consists of 213,731,117 common shares with no further shares held in Treasury."

Where are the missing c. 38%? They participated in the dividend as proved by the amount Gulf declared divided by the shares in issue.

Correct SC and all for some "worthless" little Oil Company as these trolls keep telling us. Why would experts of this calibre get involved with poor old GKP ?

They have been ramming this BS down our throats 24/7 for a decade, and call us all "morons" because we can think for ourselves and are not fooled by their nonsense.

LOL

Yes & IMHO Perella Weinberg are playing a blinder with GKP. Daniel Yergin is a Perella man and Perella Weinberg have a direct link with their former employee, Gabriel Papineau-Legris sitting as CCO sitting inside the GKP boardroom, (which ironically GKP do not openly state this link, in their Board & Management Senior Management biography for him on the company website).

Bloomberg

The global energy crisis is getting more serious ahead of the winter months. Oil climbed for a sixth straight week. Coal surged to a record. Natural gas in Europe and Asia pushed higher, to the equivalent of about $190 a barrel—something the oil market has never seen.

and if Doggie (or anyone else) thinks Hydrogen is a safe , viable fuel source then Google BLEVE and imagine what would happen in a serious pile up on the M25 , in the rush hour , full of hydrogen powered cars.

Another political pipedream.
