Could the energy crunch get so bad that oil prices hit $200 a barrel? One options trader thinks so.

Brent $200 calls for December 2022, options contracts that would profit a buyer from a rally toward that level, traded 1,300 times on Wednesday. While the contracts don’t expire until October next year, they could profit from any sharp spike in prices this winter or next summer.

This seems to be why Brent spiked. I wonder where they're going to get it from? Odds on a few afters tonight, imo.

But you gave us the benefit of your wisdom once again in the reasoning, which if you are leaving for the umpteenth time just close the door on the way out, are you so vain that you think we need your announcements, just pass the baton on to the next boiler room member.
IF you buy in again I have no wish to know so there is no need to tell us when you sell, BYE that's not a BUY recommendation.

Take your point, Muttley. Seeing as they probably own a fair few of these they might want some of their money back every month. But they have to be realistic with the logistics of declaring and paying dividends.
