30/7/2021 10:55 | "That's 2 RNS's and they failed to update you on Ops lol." Tony. One of those RNSs was a payment update and the other was about a dividend. What makes you think that payment and dividend RNSs need to be accompanied by operations updates. What's the connection. Operations updates can be issued on their own Tony. Jon Harris doesn't say, right I need to issue a dividend update so I need an operations update to go with it. That's not how it works Tony. | habshan

Al-Maliki said in a tweet to him on Twitter, which was followed by Alsumaria News, "It seems that Ms. Plasschaert needs to know her mission and role as an official for the UNAMI mission in Iraq." Iraq, indicating that "the mission is moving at the request of the Iraqi government and has no authority to move and interfere in the affairs of the elections except with what the commission needs." 30/7/2021 07:22 | "Remember, highlander7 and habSCUM told you all that the company and hosts weren't concerned about the flaring?" You just can't help yourself can you Sarah. What you were told (several times) was that the plans for gas management will form an important and large part of the development plan for the next phase of the field development, and how could they not. And that's still the case. Habshan 5/2/21 - "it will be addressed in the amended FDP as part of our "longer term" gas management plans." Stuart Catterall at the Capital Markets Day:- "Gas re-injection, the importance of that is 3 fold. a) - To eliminate the flaring." Jon Harris - "I am leading work to develop a comprehensive ESG strategy. A major focus of our strategy will be utilizing our gas for economic return and to reduce our carbon footprint by reducing gas flaring." Try to keep up ffs. | habshan

30/7/2021 07:00 | Re ccc. So he sold up just a few days before he could have claimed the dividend. And not because he thought the price would fall lower afterwards but for all the reasons that would have been there for months and years. Even when the price was much higher. Well worth taking note of him. ....Not | shortsqueezer

30/7/2021 04:21 | Iraq oil report Q&A: Oil Minister Ihsan Ismaael Iraq’s oil chief discusses negotiations with Total and Chevron, arbitration with Exxon, the future of INOC, several gas project updates, and budget talks with the Kurdistan region. Q&A: Oil Minister Ihsan Ismaael Iraqi Oil Minister Ihsan Ismaael in his office in Baghdad on Feb. 8, 2021. (LIZZIE PORTER/Iraq Oil Report) By BEN VAN HEUVELEN of Iraq Oil Report Published Friday, July 30th, 2021 WASHINGTON - The clock is ticking for Iraq’s Oil Ministry to conclude some major strategic initiatives before October’s national elections begin to dominate the agenda in Baghdad. One consequential yet unfinished deal is a multi-faceted project with France’s TotalEnergies worth $28 billion over 50 years, which would involve gas capture, upstream development, treatment and transport of water for use at southern oil fields, and Iraq’s first solar power plant. | beernut

With many technical and accounting details still to be worked out between the two sides, it was not immediately known if this first transfer would be followed by regular payments to the KRG, which has struggled to pay its civil servants in full or on time. | beernut
30/7/2021 02:08 | The Prime Minister's Adviser: Al-Kadhimi’s visit to Washington is a turning point Iraq News Al-Kadhimi Washington 2021-07-29 21:26 A- A A+ Shafaq News / The Prime Minister's Adviser for Economic Affairs, Mazhar Muhammad Salih, considered Al-Kadhimi’s visit to Washington, a turning point in the history of Iraq that comes after years of war. Saleh told Shafaq News Agency, "The Prime Minister's visit details the transformation of the Iraqi economies from war and conflict that Iraq experienced 18 years ago, to the end of ISIS, up to the economy of construction, reconstruction and peace." He added that "Al-Kadhimi's visit focused on building a peace economy for Iraq and the region," noting that "the current government's policy is a peaceful policy that aims at good neighborliness and benefiting from the great powers, as the United States is a superpower and Iraq has strong relations with it." Saleh pointed out that "there is a strategic framework agreement that will turn to construction and reconstruction," noting that "the Prime Minister’s call is serious one, no matter how unemployed and powerless the country is." He added that "the United States is a great ally, friend and partner, and the partnership must move from wars and conflicts to construction." Al-Kadhimi’s advisor concluded that Iraq will turn, according to those frameworks, to “construction and progress, especially since the region is now entering the economics of peace, and this is what the Iraqi government intends to do.” Mustafa Al-Kadhimi had returned on Thursday evening to Baghdad, after four-days visit to Washington. | beernut
30/7/2021 01:32 | The fake CCC on Lse has sold up. 😂 Wonder if we’re getting close to being sold and his deramping services are no longer required. We’ll have to see what happens with The dog and oilslick Gla CCC. Posts: 969 Price: 170.60 No Opinion For the record.Thu 19:54 I am now 100% out, sold majority a few weeks ago and the rest this week, Nearly 12 years invested although briefly out early last year, just over doubled my last buy, but nursing a hefty loss from my initial buys. As said 12 years, but still so many unanswered questions that just seem to grow with time, had hoped for a sale early day's , however with zero interest and with the majors pulling out of area, it is GKP verses KRG and questions unknown and other reasons both company and regional. Just my take on matters and is not a recommendation, so good luck for the future. I will keep an eye on developments and may well re-visit, but only once my concerns are clearer. | beernut
