Let's correct some of that misleading Kurdish press. Gkp will not link into the Atrush pipeline. They will however build their own independent pipeline down to the main line running up from Kirkuk where it will go into a new blending plant. So the fact it's running across Shaikan gives the impression we will link in at that point is incorrect. It's still going to cost millions (but not much) to build our own spur and is in current budget plans.

All above is public knowledge and available on the KRG website where you will find a map showing the SH spur as a dotted black line running alongside the Atrush pipeline.

Kurdistan country/area risk.

¥¥¥ it doesn’t put the Russians, the Chinese, the Norwegians, Genel, TAQA, the Lundin Group etc. off

Baghdad.

Unlikely that Erbil and Baghdad will get agreements that will last/give confidence.

¥¥¥ politics is an issue faced by most oil companies because of where oil is found

No certainty that the PSC won't get replaced or at best tweaked by Baghdad.

¥¥¥ that’s the same for all the PSCs. It doesn’t stop the other companies

ShaiCON production issues. I suspect will require a ton of money to fix.

¥¥¥ Bigdog5 is unable to say what these alleged “issues” actually are

Heavy oil, only able to produce from one zone, Jurassic.

¥¥¥ simply untrue. Production is currently from the Jurassic because that is what the FDP specified for Phase Zero. Heavy Jurassic oil is very valuable as the EBITDA proves - and it flows very easily because it contains no wax

Cretaceous tar like and worthless.

¥¥¥ so why are GKP planning the longer-term development of at least part of the Cretaceous? The point is irrelevant anyway because of the huge volumes in the Jurassic abd Triassic which are the priority reservoirs. And why did Bigdog5 previously take the very opposite position, valuing the Cretaceous on the same Oil In Place per barrel figure as the Jurassic and Triassic?

Triassic highly pressurised, costly, risky, never been on long term flow test.

¥¥¥ there are 2P and 2C Reserves and Resources for the Triassic. Where does the “costly” assertion come from? Where is the risk when ERC Equipoise have repeatedly declared 2P and 2C Reserves and Resources? Why is a long-term test required?

Permian even more highly pressurised, eats drills and extremely costly to drill.

¥¥¥ an interesting remark. So Bigdog5 is saying that the Permian has been entered?

Production problems getting back to 40k. Not this year.

$$$ the OIP figures were given by independent reservoir engineers. The CPR presentation of 13 March 2014 gave an OIP figure which, with the Jon Ferrier Triassic Condensate Correction, is pretty much in line with the DGA 13.7 billion barrels figure.

¥¥¥ complete nonsense. There is pressure communication between all the Jurassic wells. GKP have never said anything about compartmentalisation.
