09/2/2017 14:27 | From iii - "DNO mgmt is claiming that they are now being paid according to the PSA. DNO is still working toward marketing their own oil in 2017. If true both very positive." | gkphero
09/2/2017 14:19 | olieslim, You may be mistaken, it's me that is short. Along with others I suspect | dudishes
09/2/2017 14:06 | Oh dear. DNO have a 55% Working Interest in Tawke GKP have a 58% Working Interest in Shaikan - not 38% as "The Patriotic Irishman" says | oil_investor
09/2/2017 13:54 | W1NDJAMMER9 Feb '17 - 13:25 - 15416 of 15420 0 0 KMANN think you missed the point, there is only one thing driving this, and its the best news to come out of Kurdistan in the last 6 years. also puts GKP in play. WJ. -------------------- Sounds like a ramp, but it is true, imo. Needs to sink in though. The investment case is back... (defo at GENL, here I'm not sure because BoD and behind them and those that have this share in their grip). | olieslim

09/2/2017 13:32 | Also from the DNO webcast - DNO chairman said on the webcast, "we tried to engage with GKP last year, perhaps they had other opportunities". | gkphero
09/2/2017 13:31 | owd, I sense that GKP's time is up. Time to get it sold. I predict a bidding war, ending in £25 per share for GKP. Make of this revelation what you will. | gkphero
09/2/2017 13:27 | The price is £25 per share for GKP and not a penny more. | gkphero
09/2/2017 13:26 | Just speculating. DNO ingratiating themselves with the KRG by drilling. DNO already in the Country and having KRG approval for their earlier offer. DNO being used to the bent gang running the place. DNO Tawke reserves not looking brilliant, they must want more. I suspect a new offer for GKP may be coming, better than the first one but well below the expectations of many on here. However it won't need to be very high to gain the acceptance of the ex-bondholders. JF may talk of "Sensible offers", but neither he nor the board will have the power to make the decision, just as we won't. DNO may seek a partner so as to make it an all cash offer. Sinopec? GLA LTH. | owdbuffer
09/2/2017 13:19 | What ever position I have I'm comfortable in my shoes. Note I didn't give you a hint one way or another. Nice try. | oilman63
09/2/2017 13:09 | How's your short coming along, pmsl63? Getting worried? | olieslim
09/2/2017 12:20 | P.S. IOC's market oil themselves, then get payed from the source just like the MNR/KRG will (saw 1/3, 2/3 resp. mentioned on the GENL BB) Find out when. | olieslim
09/2/2017 12:13 | Good news in the DNO Q&A: Payment mechanism. In short: 'corporate activity' now possible and highly likely. Careful though ;-) | olieslim
09/2/2017 10:17 | Zjester, How high can you count? 2jester9 Feb '17 - 09:34 - 533746 of 533748 2 0 How many lies do investors think Gulf Keystone has dumped on its unfortunate investors? | kiltless highlander
09/2/2017 10:14 | No its not worthwhile at all, its just a waste of your time, hope this helps. oil_investor9 Feb '17 - 09:30 - 533745 of 533747 3 0 SHAIKAN AND TAWKE RESERVES COMPARISON There are new Reserves figures out this morning for Tawke. A comparison against Shaikan, on the current CPR numbers, is perhaps worthwhile. | fake taxi
09/2/2017 09:52 | "The information communicated in this announcement IS INSIDE INFORMATION for the purposes of Article 7 of Regulation 596/2014." Look at that, GKP know a rule! lol. | 2jester

09/2/2017 09:30 | SHAIKAN AND TAWKE RESERVES COMPARISON There are new Reserves figures out this morning for Tawke. A comparison against Shaikan, on the current CPR numbers, is perhaps worthwhile. Shaikan 2P Reserves 622 million barrels 2C Resources 239 million barrels 2P + 2C = 861 million barrels Tawke 2P Reserves 504 million barrels 2C Resources 100 million barrels 2P + 2C = 604 million barrels This confirms what John Hurst the former head of exploration at BP said: "Shaikan is second only to Kirkuk" in Kurdistan. Shaikan is of course only at an early ("Phase Zero") stage of development, and the Tawke production is significantly higher, having produced 39 million barrels last year. Shaikan is running at about one-third of that level because no development work has been done since the current facilities were installed some years ago. | oil_investor

09/2/2017 08:11 | All of that is so true Terry, especially this paragraph:-))) Terry Hardacre 9 Feb '17 - 07:57 - 533737 of 533738 1 0 But their efforts to defy reality are not completely in vain; keeps us happily entertained at least. | fake taxi |
