It's pretty obvious the CC was about something else entirely... Stretching the life of Gkp out to ensure maximum extraction perhaps. The thing it did do was rubber stamp a false $5bn valuation in every ones mind so that as others quietly sold out, others held on.

Everyone invested, apart from a select few and those that saw the light, got roasted like a peanut.

I pray someone writes a book about it... Or at least it gets some good media coverage.

Would someone please tell me if I have got this wrong?

My reading of the latest incentive plan is that, if things go according to plan, 2 bod members will get shares which will amount to a 7% dilution of all shareholders.

Shareholders, who owned the company prior to the restructuring, got 5% of the expanded company.

7 divided by 1.07 = 6.54%.

So the 2 directors get more of the company than the original shareholders did.

And the share price will be affected far more by payments and the oil price, than by anything the directors do.

Please tell me where I am going wrong.
