GKP took an extra 5% of shaikan from the KRG in exchange for $100 million the KRG owed GKP.
Now that was Hawrmi/salami proposition , and JF and CO bit his hand off, even though they needed the $100 million and not the 5%, as they had the 5% in TKI still.

That actually puts Shaikan at $2 billion value, but bear in mind, XOM own the BIR already.

ON the nearby block the joins SA, is Atrush, that was held by Alex Cranberg Aspect energy, through its offshore subsidary co GE Exploartion. In December 2012 with 3 weels drilled on it, TAQA BROUGHT THE SHARE OWNED BY ASPECT ENERGY, FOR $600 MILLION AND MAYBE ONE GEO TYPE CAN STATE WHAT RESERVES AND RECOVERABLE ATRUSH HOLDS. TAQA HOLD 39.9% OF THAT BLOCK.

GKP 's debt was abel to be written off for upto a 30% stake prior to bondholder negs and it was blanked, the conditions applied to it was the interest on the coupon was paid. that meant in reality, GKP would still have been owed the $150 million by the KRG, and would have had a clean balance sheet.

Now as to the poster on iii, i will say that is complet utter BS, its a spin.

On GKP ammendement on SH being reduced to 30%, what is being propese insted of the Theieves of the KDP KRG MNR taking 40%, they plan to revert to 30%, but the reason is , this is where GKP stood at before Etamic deal.

Actually there is no such thing as a capacity building bonus, Contractor bonuses or local building bonus, capacity payments, its just a way of operating a system that avoids US, UK, Iraq Corruption laws, as these are acts of kickbacks.

Point of fact the above can be backed up with no ambiguity or obsfurcation.

Because Phillis he knows what's what if your interested in lost presentations and misrepresentation of the facts re what is in Shaikan .Laugh all you like ,Bob will be proved right in the end IMO (he wasn't the only one pointing all this out), but when will that be ? Maybe not in the life of GKP?
