The cost of money, and keeping it here - which has already been infuriating me for years - on this delusional we will be bought out... I bought in for a healthy income stream, this is what I would ideally like but I also don't like being underwater capital wise...

I prefer jam today geezer! Open this F* pipeline, let me make some dosh. I will re-assess at that point! Whether dividends which is more probable, or some possibility other..

Do something with my cash!

BP expect the pipeline to be available. So better to do a deal now than Sept 2025 when the Kurds hold ALL the cards. Thats the driver.

Does seem as we are getting closer... I like the APIKUR x/twitter statements, gives (hope) confidence.. I paid 135 for my DRIP but feeling quite comfortable with that - you never get tops or bottoms... Even that was partial for about an hour about a week ago before it all went through...

Where is Habs? Hope he isn't ill/other...

Would like to know when parliament will potentially ratify the cabinet theoretical $16 base case, any other details - like who would be the independent auditor of costs...

When are the next set of quarterlies (rns) set to land, and anything in regard to money outstanding from the KRG if the current offer was to be accepted...

The buyback.. previous buys were always rns'd daily - the first of this lot was, but nothing since, its wierd. Either they don't wish to show their hand (don't think they need to rns every time they buy in the market) or are in a closed period is all I can think of...

GLA!

Carroll, you post absolute garbage.

You are a liar and fraud.

None of your ludicrous posts have ever come true.

Btw gullible fantasists, you were told, except you didn't believe us, that all the fields would be individually assessed for production costs etc. And that's exactly what is going to happen if you've managed to read and understand the announcements.

You're welcome.

Shafaq News/ On Thursday, Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani met with Peter Costello, Executive Vice President of Shell’s Upstream sector, along with the company’s directors in Iraq and the UAE, expressing Baghdad's keen interest in collaborating with major global oil companies and attracting investments, particularly in the gas and clean energy sectors.
According to Al-Sudani’s media office, “The meeting focused on exploring avenues of cooperation with Shell in the energy sector, the progress of its major extraction projects in Iraq, and the investment opportunities the global company can contribute to, particularly in developing the oil, gas, and clean energy sectors, as well as in carbon emissions reduction projects.”
“Discussions also included Shell’s potential involvement in integrated energy projects, enhancing Iraq’s oil resources, producing gas and condensates, and adhering to global environmental standards.”
Al-Sudani expressed the government’s interest in collaborating with major international oil companies, emphasizing “attracting investments in the energy sector, especially in gas and clean energy development. He affirmed that Iraq is committed to providing support for investors interested in advancing these sectors, in line with the goals of the government’s program to modernize infrastructure in economic sectors.”
Furthermore, the Prime Minister instructed the Ministry of Oil to maintain continuous communication with Shell to “advance projects that benefit Iraq, support economic development, and enhance government efforts to expand revenue in the oil sector.”

Iraqi government approves proposal to amend budget law to compensate the KRG
2024-11-05 17:02

Shafaq News/ The Iraqi Cabinet on Tuesday approved a proposal to amend Article (12/ Second/ C) of the Three-Year Budget Law No. 13 of 2023, on covering the Kurdistan Regional Government’s (KRG) oil production and transportation expenses from sovereign expenditures.
Iraqi PM’s media office revealed in a statement that “the Federal Ministry of Finance will compensate the KRG from sovereign expenditures for the production and transportation costs of oil produced in the region and received by the State Oil Marketing Organization (SOMO) or the Federal Ministry of Oil, based on subparagraphs (a) and (b). Production and transportation costs for each field will be estimated fairly by an internationally specialized consulting entity, as agreed upon by the Federal Ministry of Oil and the KRG’s Ministry of Natural Resources, within 60 days of the law’s enactment. If no agreement is reached within this period, the Federal Council of Ministers will determine the consulting entity.”
The PM media office announced that the entities aforementioned “will submit estimated production and transportation costs to the Federal Ministries of Oil and Finance and the KRG. These will be adopted for the purposes of this law, with compensation calculated based on the estimated cost per barrel, multiplied by the number of barrels received as per subparagraphs (a) and (b). The Federal Ministry of Finance will be responsible for paying the compensation to the KRG.”
Oil produced in the region must be promptly delivered to SOMO or the Federal Ministry of Oil, in accordance with subparagraphs (a) and (b). The Federal Ministry of Finance will provide an advance payment of $16 per barrel to cover production and transportation costs, with final settlement occurring retroactively after the consulting entity’s review is completed, the statement continued.

Well it sounds positive but they have had years to sort out how much production costs . I'd rather that was sorted prior to conmemcenent of PL exports. Once its started again it will be hard for one firm to stop since its blended.
