“There is no reason to go to the huge expense, legal compliance, to adjust an existing performance based employee award scheme, to a time based deferred reward and retention scheme without very good reason, nor applying a stay bonus to a CEO.”

I mean… it could be seen as trying to keep hold of important staff who are keen to leave GKP and take up positions in other less corrupt, legal oil exporting organisations…

There is no reason to go to the huge expense, legal compliance, to adjust an existing performance based employee award scheme, to a time based deferred reward and retention scheme without very good reason, nor applying a stay bonus to a CEO.You would never engage a new CFO in a publically quoted company, that had never been a CFO of even a chip shop( unless it was a very short term transition). And if you were a going independent concern, you would replace his CCO role, they haven't. ( Given his role was clearly selling the company, that should not be a surprise...... ) You also would not dole out new options in precise proportions unless they were a share out of a done deal. The company is obviously sold TBA.However without being an insider pinning a fixed date of RNS, impossible. However the stay bonus for CEO would point to a very near term announcement.

Nor do we doubt the quality of your brain or your philanthropy via numerous aliases and constant repetition. It`s just that the evidence of the financial, political and legal climate makes what you suggest extremely unlikely.

I do not seek anonymous avatars gratitude.I am merely attempting to help retail PI who may not have had much exposure to corporate practices, that the company, by its corporate actions, and inactions is SOLD.TBA.. End of.To whom, on what terms, TBAWhen? Highly likely to be very near term.

If you are right I will kiss your feet in public by way of humble thanks and apology BUT do read the gentle verses of H7 as I think that they are nearer the mark. I can`t see us meeting for a while. July4th came and went and July is almost gone.Like H7 I`ll be waiting for the pipeline.

Arcadian,

It always amazes me that so many investors have bought (sometimes) large numbers of shares in an industry most of them dont understand and in a high risk region such as Kurdistan . Yes the rewards potentially could be great but there is a reason the ICG are dragging their heels over the Oil & Gas Law. So I await the pipeline outcome with interest but I am prepared to wait.

The CEO has already told the English speaking world that the upside potential is ENORMOUS , and the shares are FANTASTIC value.Outside of breaking FCA rules which he may have in the latter, how can they tell retail the sale is at a huge premium? The major insiders will already know the price being paid , and wouldn't vote it through if they did not believe it appropriate..

It's not a question of value. The company is obviously sold. What they have sold it for , we will very soon discover.

I did like your 8.12am post so deft but said it all without causing a major backlash from all those who can only see the value being bought out very soon.

I thnk LTH are reluctant to believe the obvious - IE the company is sold TBA - as they dont think they will get fair value.
They will.

I have done plenty...... For sure..... Buying a company that is sat on huge proven reservesWith 700m produion assets all paid forThat makes a profit even on local salesThat has no debtHas 100m in bankRock solid legal PSCIs not risky..Paiying the Somalian rebel s 250m to drill some holes and maybe find oilIs riskyLOL.Anyway does not matterThe company is clearly sold TBA

I guess risk has been somewhat minimised, for the IOCs, by the enormous accumulation of shares they must have made over the years. In the end Shaikan will cost them diddly squat.

I thought I was pretty clear. Its how the Industry works. ALL decisions on expenditure and profit are RISK based. It has NOTHING whatsoever do with the management or assets.

Do some research FGS.
