Every billion dollars paidl at takeover is equal to about 3.50 pounds per share.None of the option holders make any money on sale below 1.47.The CEO has around 700,000 options.So at 1 billion 3.50 per share he makes 1.4 millionNot a lot is it? He pretty much makes that every year.LOLOL.It will be at least 25 quid........

That?s completely incorrect They opened their short on 9 May 2023.The pre takeover buyback reducing the shares in issue pushed them over the declaration 0.50% on 22 July

That's questionable!Hedge funds borrow shares to short. I am not aware of shorts being held for over a year as that would cause the hedge fund to pay a lot of interest on the borrowed shares.I see this as a new short and not connected with their previous shorts

Iraq's oil production jumped by over 100,000 barrels per day (bpd) in June as output increased substantially from state-run fields in Basra, according to an Iraq Oil Report analysis based on data gathered from the country's active fields. *
The single biggest increase came from the Majnoon oil field, which went from 69,000 bpd in May to 177,000 bpd in June, according to officials directly familiar with the project.

Oil and Gas Committee in the Iraqi Parliament:

• Given that the KRG oil contracts are confidential, and companies are reluctant to disclose them to the Iraqi government: Baghdad and the KRG have agreed to appoint an independent advisory body which will review the contracts, and the Iraqi Oil Ministry will make decisions based on their findings.

• Adnan Jabri, a committee member, told Al-Sabah newspaper: "An agreement has been reached to engage a third-party consultant between the Iraqi Oil Ministry and the KRG Ministry of Natural Resources to review recent contracts. This will serve as the basis for deciding and taking appropriate action regarding oil exports from Kurdistan."
• The Turkish side is prepared to resume oil exports through the port of Ceyhan. However, issues between Erbil and Baghdad remain unresolved, particularly concerning recent contracts not recognized by the Iraqi Oil Ministry.
• The KRG seeks a comprehensive resolution for all contracts, while the Oil Ministry prefers to address each contract individually. This is partly due to the high production costs in Kurdistan, which reach $26 per barrel, significantly higher than the $7 per barrel in Basra fields.
