Russian energy company Gazprom on Thursday denied Turkish media reports that it was in negotiation to acquire the Turkish Petroleum Pipeline Corporation (BOTAS).

"The information disseminated in a number of Turkish media about alleged negotiations or intentions regarding the transfer of the Turkish company BOTAS to Gazprom's management is completely untrue," the Russian gas giant said in a statement.

BOTAS also refuted the allegations, saying that “the report about the sale or transfer of BOTAS, Türkiye's leading public institution in the energy sector, to any country or company, including Gazprom, are baseless.”

Ptmorris... It's a bit of an enigma to me.
It seems like USA are being bullies and pushing their weight about.
I would like to see a collective Arabia to tell the USA to do one.
Some peeps have been predicting ww3 starting in the middle east and you can see why.

I have just purchased another 10k worth.I adjusted my dcf after the confirmation of div cancellation ( a postponement imo ).Without any production, cash positive for around 15months.Repayments o/s 110m.Reserves accruing to the company are 180 m minimum.P2.Those and all production infrastructure of 500m or so is valued currently at 380m dollars.I read the takeover discussions here and elsewhere with increasing probability as these assets are at option pricing currently.So even though I do not expect production outage to last much longer, as the political situation now has certainty, if it does this company could sell a stake , JV , or be taken over for relative peanuts in the context of IOC transactions and still be cheap at 3 times this market cap.I have issued a new repeat prescription:Buy as many as you can.ATB TheDoctor

It's severe for Iraq who still don't have a budget so badly need the issues resolved.

It's severe for Turkey who still don't have any dollars or any other foreign currency so badly need the pipeline open.

The Turkish elections are over so negotiations to reopen the pipeline can begin.

What Citadel with their tiny short of 0.6% are doing is irrelevant.

Aberdeen have increased their holding by 56.41%

Acadian have increased theirs 20.56%

Since April.
