04/10/2022 12:55 | Cheers nest, while I agree with your comments, however there are new folk or people who don’t attend this chat on a regular basis, so I just feel we can be more user friendly and give as much factual information as possible when asaked. Certain comments are uncalled for and I feel that doesn't bode well for this chat, particularly from a poster who should know better. I know certain poster are beyond our control and the only way to minimise their comments is to challenge them, keep up the good work to those who do (you know who you are). | bumkin
04/10/2022 12:52 | I note that h7 has changed his tune again!!! It appears that instead of ramping up any Russian/Chinese connections he has finally agreed with me. "I cant see the US allowing either the Chinese or Russia to get a serious foothold in the Kurdish Oil Industry". I've been telling you idiots that for years and that has been made even more evident over the past few months by Baghdad stating they're not allowing China to have more contracts down South. So if the Kurds were to hand them any contracts how would you expect Baghdad to react?? Then there's the Russians who own the vast percentage of the pipelines up North. How would you expect the Yanks to react were the hosts to hand out contracts to them??? Then do have a think about who it is that the Kurds go moaning and begging to for help? Well done h7 but there again if you look back at your record of posting here there are countless times you've argued with me before agreeing with what I've said later on. No takeaway then Mr Carroll, care to comment? | bigdog5
04/10/2022 12:32 | That is correct nest - so many can' be bothered to read the RNS's - or look at the co presentations - are we after 660,000 plus posts - an incredible journey here just to inform the lazy of mind? Or often deliberate obfuscators..... | giant_canine
04/10/2022 12:29 | True Bumkin but if anyone wanted to know the answer there is a search facility on this site or you can ask the Co or read the RNS's. | nestoframpers
04/10/2022 12:23 | The big plus for Kurdistan in the Geopolitical game that has been going on for a decade or more are the number of US military bases in Country, with more planned. I cant see the US allowing either the Chinese or Russia to get a serious foothold in the Kurdish Oil Industry. H7 | highlander7
04/10/2022 11:51 | Shouldn’t we be more helpful on this chat to encourage folk instead of spouting off about the same thing over and over again or given misleading information. There’s a fantastic amount of knowledge on this site which should be used to inform and educate people, not endless drivel from certain folk. I don’t post often, but when I do I try and give factual information and it sums up that person when he says he is going to filter me 🙄🤷 | bumkin

03/10/2022 21:51 | part of article ERBIL, Kurdistan Region - Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kadhimi arrived in the Kurdistan Region’s capital Erbil early Monday to meet top Kurdish officials and to attend a memorial of the late president of Iraq and leader of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) Jalal Talabani. Accompanied by Iraqi Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein, the two officials were received by the Region’s Prime Minister Masrour Barzani, Deputy Prime Minister Qubad Talabani, and several ministers at Erbil International Airport. “We have a long conversation ahead,” PM Barzani said in a tweet. “Security, energy, and finances on top of the agenda.” Kadhimi and PM Barzani stressed the need for conducting dialogue to resolve the outstanding issues between Baghdad and Erbil, and the need to continue cooperation in efforts made towards overcoming the existing obstacles, according to statements from both officials. | nestoframpers |
