Oil Prices Rise On Major Crude Inventory Draw

The American Petroleum Institute (API) reported a large draw this week for crude oil of 5.632 million barrels, while analysts predicted a draw of 448,000 barrels.

The build comes as the Department of Energy released a massive 8.1 million barrels from the Strategic Petroleum Reserves in week ending August 19, leaving the SPR with just 453.1 million barrels.

U.S. crude inventories have shed some 67 million barrels since the start of 2021, with a 4 million barrel gain since the start of 2020, according to API data.

In the week prior, the API reported a draw in crude oil inventories of 448,000 barrels after analysts had predicted a draw of 117,000 barrels.

Lansdowne are the activist voter.Who they hold the stock for unknown.Garret Soden is there non Independent Ned.Holder could be LUNDIN He left the audit and risk committee over a year ago.imo because that committee was looking to assess an m and a transaction, and as non Indy he couldn't sit.Wanda new NED was immediately plonkedin it.

SINOPEC were gifted a lump of equity ( by Zahawi) at restructuring (allegedly) from some of the convertible bonds . Could be them.I can't make my mind up whether there is a planned friendly deal , or a contrived hostile battle.Fact that this revealed now, when they could have kept the Dutch bank as owner means......???

It's a very interesting construct , stichting.It has no ownership.It could be being used as a hostile takeover defence, as is very common.It can also be used as an escrow agent, a holding for someone ( could be GKP) that is waiting for conditions of an m and a transaction to be completed.It's highly significant.It's also highly significant that the company has revealed this now.
