LOL. If you knew what all the problem points were and how far apart Baghdad and Erbil are after years of trying to get some sort of compromise you would see they aren't being exaggerated. Just another example of pumping out spin? If the issues were "overexaggerated" why are they still trying to get an agreement after 15 years? How many time has there been an announcement that that an oil law was "imminent". Its a regular occurrence.

I've seen how far apart they are and the Kurds are going to have to move a long way towards what Baghdad want. I told you months ago Baghdad were serious this time.

I presume another piece of guesswork entrapping a few into believing. Gkp has been in a sale process for as long as I can remember there have been substantial rumours recently but nothing has become of them. If a sale happens then it will come out of the blue when least expected so no amount of guesswork on here will further that forward.

Shafaq News/ The powerful Shiite clergyman Muqtada al-Sadr said that he might approve a cabinet that excludes both his and Nouri Al-Maliki's parties, an arch-foe of the leader of the Sadrist movement.

A source familiar with the matter told Shafaq News Agency that al-Sadr had sent a letter that conveys his vision for the next government to the leaders of the Coordination Framework.

"Al-Sadr's vision excludes both the State of Law and the Sadrist blocs from the cabinet lineup," the source said.

"The cabinet's mandate shall be a year during which it prepares for an early election in September," the source continued, "the prime minister shall be chosen by consensus between the two camps."

"The leaders of the Coordination Framework are yet to reply to al-Sadr's proposal," the source concluded.
