12/8/2022 14:34 | Go figure ............. IRAQ PLANNING INCREASED OIL PRODUCTION IN "COMING YEARS" 8th August 2022 in Iraq Oil & Gas News By John Lee. The First Vice President of the Iraqi National Oil Company (INOC), Hamid Younis, has said that oil production in Iraq can be increased to 5-to-8 million barrels per day (bpd) "during the coming years." He is quoted in a statement from the Iraqi Ministry of Oil, following a meeting that he chaired with officials from Iraqi oil companies to discuss plans to maintain and increase oil production and export. The Director-General of the Iraqi Oil Exploration Company, Ali Jassim, said that the next phase will see remarkable activity in the exploration sector, including operations in the Western Desert and Nineveh Governorate. 12/8/2022 14:30 | They dont need either the HCL OR the FDP approved to develop the business to 110k bbls a day. Thats the enigma. They are not going to be robbed. Nor are we. IMO | highlander7
12/8/2022 14:08 | Fortunately the top 3 shareholders who own 31% + and have never sold 1 at 320p 0r 48p..........HAVE NO DOUBT. Almost certainly because the beneficial owners of some of this stock are the MNR.... If Carlsberg did takeovers ....this is it. Appointing Wanda the new NED took the probability from 99.9 to 99.9999% certainty. | giant_canine
12/8/2022 14:02 | @Strummerjon, I too have had that nagging doubt. It reminds me of the CCP take over of Hong Kong. Rather than let the bank account get raided, the government signed up to a load of capital projects to spend the money. The new airport being one. | ptmorris1
12/8/2022 13:49 | Nest - that is always your answer. There may never be an HCL - they cant even form a government.......... It is in the KRG interest to get these indy cos sold to IOC sooner rather than later. Wanda why do we need Wanda? Its sold TBA. | gkp_bang_gone
12/8/2022 13:47 | Well, there is another plausible reason. I'd be giving away my cash to whom I chose, if I knew I was about to be robbed and lose the lot. However, I remain optimistic as a holder, that the upside outweighs the downside and prepared to take the risk with the amount I have staked. | strummerjon
12/8/2022 13:45 | My answer is that nothing happens before HCL. Cant let the gene out the bottle early. Was it Todd that said Shaikan was a 'country maker' ? | nestoframpers
12/8/2022 13:39 | That the $64k question. Why hand out large amounts of cash when they should have been investing in PF-3 , pipelines and associated drilling ? H7 | highlander7 |
