Actually by Sept 1 we will have had another payment so.....My numbers reflect the debt already being paid off?..As off now95 m ish in bank115 m debtorsSept 1. Debtors about 115m cash 125m.So 75m even 100m div likely?...However Wanda tells me it?s takeover time.

IRAQ PLANNING INCREASED OIL PRODUCTION IN "COMING YEARS"

The First Vice President of the Iraqi National Oil Company (INOC), Hamid Younis, has said that oil production in Iraq can be increased to 5-to-8 million barrels per day (bpd) "during the coming years."

He is quoted in a statement from the Iraqi Ministry of Oil, following a meeting that he chaired with officials from Iraqi oil companies to discuss plans to maintain and increase oil production and export.

The Director-General of the Iraqi Oil Exploration Company, Ali Jassim, said that the next phase will see remarkable activity in the exploration sector, including operations in the Western Desert and Nineveh Governorate.

They dont need either the HCL OR the FDP approved to develop the business to 110k bbls a day. Thats the enigma.

They are not going to be robbed. Nor are we.

Fortunately the top 3 shareholders who own 31% + and have never sold 1 at 320p 0r 48p..........HAVE NO DOUBT.
Almost certainly because the beneficial owners of some of this stock are the MNR....
If Carlsberg did takeovers ....this is it.
Appointing Wanda the new NED took the probability from 99.9 to 99.9999% certainty.

@Strummerjon, I too have had that nagging doubt. It reminds me of the CCP take over of Hong Kong. Rather than let the bank account get raided, the government signed up to a load of capital projects to spend the money. The new airport being one.

It is in the KRG interest to get these indy cos sold to IOC sooner rather than later.

Well, there is another plausible reason.
I'd be giving away my cash to whom I chose, if I knew I was about to be robbed and lose the lot.
However, I remain optimistic as a holder, that the upside outweighs the downside and prepared to take the risk with the amount I have staked.

That the $64k question. Why hand out large amounts of cash when they should have been investing in PF-3 , pipelines and associated drilling ?
