Btw, his view of taking on massive debt to buyback shares is a recipe for problems. Companies buyback their shares when they have surplus funds and are unable for various reasons to progress their business plans. Is that how he busted his?

China's Zhongman Petroleum and Natural Gas Group Corporation (ZPEC) has signed a partnership contract with the Iraqi Drilling Company (IDC).

The Director General of the IDC, Basem Abdul Karim, said that the contract includes the provision of support and completion of the work associated with drilling and reclamation operations at Iraqi oil fields.

It also includes the development of personnel and the transfer of expertise and technology.

I wouldn't take issue with that, h7. IF it is to be taken over or majority farmed out they often do these things over holiday weekends to complete all the paperwork.

A decade or so ago, in the biggest commercial legal case of the year , over which legal costs were over £ 50m, EXPERTS on either side, in a court room , placed a value of £2-4bn on the company - when there was no production infrastructure , no production and no revenue. Huge revenues now , a doubling of reserves since then , and the market cap is less than £ 1/2 a billion. The buyer(s) investment bankers have certainly done a job on suppressing the market share price pre trade sale.
Bang Gone IMO.

The same experts that have presided over £4.60 down to 1.70p?
The same ones that wiped out shareholders in 2016?
The experts that are still struggling to achieve 55k a day after 12+years.
Have they doubled reserves? See lates CPR for numbers and then apply 58%.
The ones that couldn't locate the gas cap but have found O2 at a few wells.

If an asset is any good it doesn't take 12 years for someone to buy it.
