Final touches on the amendment of the law of the national oil company


Baghdad: Conscious

The Parliamentary Oil and Energy Committee put "the final touches" on amending the law of the national oil company, indicating that it will pave the way for the initiation of the oil and gas law.
A member of the committee, Sadiq Al-Sulaiti, said to “ConsensusR21;: “The committee is about to complete the amendment of the National Oil Company Law, so that some of its paragraphs will be part of the oil and gas bill.”
He added that "after the national oil law is completed and passed in parliament, it is possible to initiate an oil and gas law, despite the existence of political differences regarding it."
It is noteworthy that the House of Representatives has completed the first reading of the first amendment bill to the Iraqi National Oil Company Law No. 4 of 2018

If nothing else it will follow brent, currently 49.66. touched 49.91 earlier. If Brent breaks $50 it would be hard to hold GKP below £1 while we wait of the big 'jump' :)
