I saw someone mentioned this on the 19th, but I have just checked a small CFD account I have with IG.

Most funds are in real shares with HL but my CFd account was credited with 2 payments that together came to approx 17.4%

Haven't checked with IG as they might want some money back, as they did earlier this year.

Anyone else had this experience? or can explain what happened

Sarah-I remember when Asher said the following:lardner23 - 17 May 2016 - 18:59:09 - 486004 of 591426Does that make me cut then or are you a polygamist, O63?Who the hell said I was your wife? I missed that one.lardner23 - 07 Apr 2016 - 09:47:28 - 477875 of 591426OK, Oilman, but what does that tell us? His first wife's a Brit, isn't she? If so, and it's not something I'm up on, presumably that gives him citizenship here? But isn't there a clear conflict with Iraqi law if he wants to hold public office? What was the second wife all about? Maybe he was just trying to keep up with our resident wannabe polygamist here?

When Marshall Wace undid their 0.8% it went from c.240 to c. 280 in about a week.

God knows ,a trivial cost , but it's imo against company law. However the good news is the Real practical free float is tiny....So friendly deal ? Or unfriendly? Clock ticks

Do you think maybe they are using their divi to cover the fee costs of the buyback ?Would make sense.

Indeed It does look like yet again the Company is adminstratively incompetent, the div should only be declared across issued stick less treasury.I had it near enough 12pLet's hope they been super clever and cunning instead...

What is Treasury Stock (Treasury Shares)Treasury stock is outstanding stock repurchased from stockholders by the issuing company.  These shares are issued but not outstanding and are not included in the calculation of dividends or earnings per share (EPS).

Fao Mikey the lunatic on 3 liesDividends. Treasury stock is not entitled to dividend payments. Since only shares owned by the issuing company itself are considered treasury stock, it does not make sense to pay dividends to these. ... In fact, the primary reason companies buy their own stock is to reduce their dividend expense and save cash.

Well there is only one way the share price will go next week, if this is true. Despite the woes of the doomsayers about the management, I think they are doing a great job and I'm happy to be invested here for that reason.

johnyboy how could I possibly have done what you state if I bought loads under £1 (first tranche 68p) and sold tens of thousands in the £2's and £3's? I also always had an average of well under £1 because I never bought many much above. We know your math sucks but come on try harder. Be a man and own up to your massive losses and errors as you're only fooling yourself. Just in case rafrider is around who appears to be such a fragile petal, no offence:-)

Poor old hab sham, McFly is having such an easy time pointing out his frailties. He never did get humour or pi$$taking. Isn't it strange that he believes the wrong things, however it does provide much entertainment for those of us that really do know all the important stuff:-)

No takeout then. Wasn't it imminent 5 years ago?

Hey, you don't think they're cleaning house ready for a merger?

That's interesting, Urals. They've only taken this out recently. I guess they assumed the share price would drop on the dividend declaration? A bit tricky when you're being taken on by the target buying in it's own shares. This could be quite funny but they'll have to exit pronto to avoid a bigger loss. Could be fun and games next week.

P.S. I wonder if they are being advised by Marshall Wace.
