good morning mac,

as I recall, the original intention was for only the concentrated, Sour Tailgas to be re-injected.
The "cleaned" (ex Amine module) gas was intended to be utilised for plant processes, heaters, E-generators, etc, with the remainder for sale or export.

Has that now changed?

Is it now the intention for all associated gas to be re-injected?

I ask because the PV considerations (pipeline size, compression, etc), in both cases, are significant.

EDIT:
Or is it the intention to continue to flair the concentrated sour tailgas, but re-inject the "cleaned" gas (i.e. that gas remaining after site utilisation)?

Why thank you HabscamPaul,

You misunderstood my comments !

I didn't say that the field is water drive did I.

As per usual you missed the point completely.

The point I was making was about connectivity between fields.

Oilman - "One other point if people are going to say I've said something can you post up my post where I've said it and not your interpretation (spin) of what I've said."

Sure:-

Digby,

Just because they say that all the wells are talking to each other doesn't mean that they all have the same pressure. From my understanding the aquifer is under pressure and when they produce oil the pressure can drop but does that mean that the pressure drops at Atrush are because Gulf are pumping oil and vice a versa ???

Or is it simply a difference in aquifer pressure ???

Why do you think they are only currently targeting certain wells for pumps ???

Oh dear Hab sham proves yet again how out of step he is with reality. He really doesn't have any idea of the current position. Perhaps he'll find some more irrelevant BS spouted by JG 7 years ago that you can all get lathered up about.

Steephill "Through resolutions 12 and 13, we are seeking the approval of shareholders to be able to make market purchases of our own Common Shares within certain limits as to quantum (up to 10% per annum) and price. The Company has no immediate intention to use this authority but believes it is prudent to ask shareholders at this JUNCTURE in order that we can act QUICKLY if NECESSARY . The authority entails a need for an amendment to the Company's Byelaws to allow the Company to proceed with the market purchases in a conventional manner. This amendment will allow the Company to hold Common Shares which have been repurchased to be held in treasury; however the Company will ONLY HOLD SUCH COMMON SHARES IN TREASURY to SATISFY THE VESTING of staff share option plans, and if they are not required for this they will be cancelled."They can only be required now on sale TBA

Any sign of a takeout?

How are the "worlds best financial Institutions" able to keep increasing their stakes?
Who are the company buying their shares from?

Could it be that the Insti's and the "30%" holders are trading the oil price?

Or has the company issued more shares and forgotten to inform the authorities?

GKP is on the edge alright if S9 doesn't give them what they desperately need.

Oilman - "The pressure is down so they need to repressurise the JURASSIC ⬅️ 013;️⬅️ With the gas.
I've just deleted a very detailed explanation I was writing for you and then thought best not."

And only a few months ago this donkey still thought that the reservoir drive mechanism was the aquifer.

And they don't NEED to repressurise the Jurassic.

You're right Oilman, best not put into print your thoughts on this and make a complete fool of yourself yet again.
