Another rewrite of history as I recall it was a certain ex postman that was named as a dangerous fantasist. Amongst several other unflattering names given him by many others who knew/knew of him.

Excellent post BB and I am completely aware of all the issues you mention. It will of course mean zero to the clueless here.

There is of course something the company could do to help themselves and therefore the MNR (if they were in agreement) that could go some way to lessening the issues you point out.

However, it would be very risky with loads of uncertainties, be very expensive, would take several years and would likely add to the issues they already have with the field. Judging by their efforts to date I suspect it would require "better experts" with experience of this type of project. But it's possible and I would expect you know what I'm referring to.

Just been told that the drone flight can be done but not all in one go.

To much area to cover and not enough battery life.

It won't really tell you much but it would be good to see where things are.
