29/1/2017 18:02 | But where are they getting the valuations from Fanny? Is it just about the ' barrels ' ?.Of course not, the barrels belong to the KRG and even GKPs entitlement oil is put in doubt with Cashtis corrupt regime. The value is the PSC and its length. So again the age old question is - how much profit do Gkp receive per barrel at $55.An | hearts1

29/1/2017 13:24 | lifeson The Company was so bullish (and rightly so IMO) regarding the vast size of Shaikan and then something dramatic happened to change their reporting strategy to that of 'nil by mouth or print'. But the evidence is there in black and white (and colour slides) and presentations / reports (withheld or available). My own thoughts exactly. In my opinion the evidence that you speak of supported the analyses posted by BBBS (a petrophysicist) and others, and that so far no one has been able to provide a convincing argument that he was wrong. | shediak

29/1/2017 12:44 | Hi Shediak, it is why anyone wishing to discuss the possible true size of Shaikan has been ridiculed on here and on every other GKP public forum. But it's been done to death and anyway everyone (and I mean everyone) is now in including the new owners. I wouldn't be surprised if most of the self-professed non-holders here are actually holding shares too. Like many medium or long term holders I'm not going anywhere as I believe Shaikan is worth a fortune. Whether we will see full value is doubtful but it will be WAY north of the CPR valuation I believe. The Company was so bullish (and rightly so IMO) regarding the vast size of Shaikan and then something dramatic happened to change their reporting strategy to that of 'nil by mouth or print'. But the evidence is there in black and white (and colour slides) and presentations / reports (withheld or available). P.S. I do think that £25+ a share might be possible. The amount of recoverable oil will determine and that oil will be sold by the new owner and payment not drip-fed to them by the MNR. | lifeson

29/1/2017 11:46 | Good morning Miss / Mrs Schmeller, As a holder for five years now I am hoping for many multiples of the current and ridiculous market valuation of 130p. I believe that any valuation will have to be based (pre discount) on the volume of recoverable oil within Shaikan. It should be fairly obvious to all genuine holders with an ounce of intellect that certain key "assumptions" (which is what they really are) made by ERCE in even the most recent CPR were made clearly to massively downplay the size of the asset for whatever reason. If it is sold for anything near the current CPR 2P or 3P reserves valuation then it would IMO amount to fraud. I don't think it will be as the Company has presented, formally or otherwise, far too much information to the contrary. Good luck with your investment Fanny and to all other genuines. | lifeson
29/1/2017 10:55 | Another interesting post from the other side. I tend to agree, whether eventually right or wrong, especially with the holding tight and buying more if you possibly can general theme. ==================== 10:19 Buy Re: The VCP 111notout Sunny Give up ? No surrender! Yes retail were crushed but they had the oo set at the same price notes were stealing at. And much of the endless shiiiiite involves the past and recriminations various , the reality is only the future. For reasons unknown the EV - set by the board - is utterly at odds with reality. Hence the basis for the VCP too. The VCP is in two parts 2017 and it dishes out a realistic bonus on trade sale Any time after it dishes out a huge amount probably 6%+ of the ultimate sale consideration Is it in the major shareholders to gift tens more likely hundreds of millions to 3 execs???? Nope. Is it in acquirers interests ? Nope Hence IMO the EV and dilution was necessary not just too refinance but to wipe out an interloper shareholder . The OO at such a low price made the dilution 7:1 The fact that the EV is somewhere between 4/6/8:1 adrift from a trade sale price mitigates the dilution further still. That's if you still hold when the company inevitably gets sold. IMO the VCP incentivises a 2017 sale and if one is not completed by year end then the VCP kicks in and penalises buyer and seller. | lifeson
29/1/2017 10:49 | Another post from the iii board. Might also be correct. Sat 16:41 Re: A Closed Period@BB 111notout 2UP Not nonsense at all There would be no need fir a two tier 'time based' incentive I will grab a few more first thing I think we have now done most of the waiting Gla ==================== dgunn222 29 Jan '17 - 08:31 - 533116 of 533118 3 0 Post from other board. Triple i....14.51 sat....looks correct. "Nope it's an incentive to buyers to drive a sale before it kicks in - that is sometime this year. If not the buyer picks effectively picks up the golden parachute purchase tax when it opens jan 1 2018 -------------------- This is absolute nonsense . The potential buyer will have a price they are willing to pay . This will be based on what they have seen in the data room , political circumstances etc etc . They will not give a monkeys how this price is divided up between the management and shareholders . If someone has 10k in their pocket when they are going to buy a car , do they care how much the manufacturer gets or how much the dealer gets ? They pay for the product and that's that . The only thing that matters now is the relationship between the major shareholders and the management . The ex bondholders have to balance whether they will get more now ....or more in the future , taking into account the terms of the VCP . Ferrier will be pointing out that it is best to wait until the politics are better ......he has to balance between keeping the major shareholders happy with the prospect of future riches , and keeping his job . Plus we have to remember the new shareholders are not a united group . Personally , I think we're in for a wait .......the crook Ferrier will be given time to get the value the shareholders demand . But he'll be out before the year ends if it looks like he won't deliver .....along with his VCP ." | lifeson |
