18/6/2013 12:16 | Normal service resumes many more buys than sells and yet marked down again.cannot understand that.Seriously considering dumping these as sure many better opportunities elsewhere. | macau
13/6/2013 08:25 | You always go down hill when you are sick, the medicine you take affects the recovery, you may be right and this will now be governed by general market sentiment now but it will recover and you will see some good upside. One to watch | ch1ck
11/6/2013 13:21 | oh dear sick..very sick! | macau
11/6/2013 09:45 | Was looking at the 240 support line to enter but I was hesitant given that we now know that Gates was buying big over the last few weeks but that did not support the share price If he has finished buying then there is scope for this to fall back another 10-20p. Will keep it on my monitor but clearly there will be no "new news" to get this moving up again for a while. | salpara111
11/6/2013 08:55 | I am in at these levels but agree with Kiwi | ch1ck
10/6/2013 22:38 | Watching for an entry point too... Anyway some news; Bill Gates increased his holding recently... though his stock picking record isn't necessarily a positive guide. .................... Recent comment from UBS... G4S: still too expensive G4S (G4S.L) still isn't cheap enough to warrant investment, according to UBS analyst George Gregory. New chief executive Ashley Almanza has replaced Nick Buckles and Gregory said putting an end to the company's well-documented stream of setbacks would be his first priority. Restoring faith in the numbers should be priority number two, he said, with rationalising the portfolio and de-gearing the balance sheet also on the to-do list. However, for now the analyst is sticking with his 'neutral' stance on the shares, and he's cut his target price, too. 'Whilst G4S appears cheap on earnings multiples, the valuation if anything looks full on cash metrics, particularly once we account for the dilutive impact of further disposals,' he said. 'Our revised target price is 240p (down from 280p), now based on cash multiples relative to peers.' ...... If it doesn't hold this 240'ish level I suspect it could fall quite a bit lower (IMO). | kiwi2007
10/6/2013 17:19 | I wonder if a re-entry point will appear soon? Held for a long time but sold at >265 after the Olympic fiasco. I think viacons post is well balanced and GFS weren't the only people to come a cropper at the Olympics... GFS have got them selves well respected for the most part(security at the upcoming G8 conference in NI for example) but a new boss is a new boss and he will have to take his time at understanding such a massive company. Watching.... | eipgam
10/6/2013 16:35 | Another day another drop in the share price..persistent and endless.. | macau

22/5/2013 11:08 | From today´s FT " Mr Buckles will depart with a £1.18m pay-off, equivalent to the pay he would receive for his contractual notice period of 12 months. He will receive his basic annual salary of £830,000, a £332,000 pension allowance, plus a £20,000 car allowance. The 52-year-old has already accumulated a £9.5m pension pot and around £5.4m of shares, giving him a combined financial package of about £16m." .................... FFS, only in the PLC business can you f@ck up and yet be showered with money for doing the job (poorly) and on departure. When will companies/shareholde Apologies rant over | via con

21/5/2013 12:26 | Some comments by brokers and the boys at FT´s Alphaville, worth a look at imo I thought the comment by Merrill was rather harsh, bleak even. | via con
