Sage, I'm not into charts, can you explain why "87 is support". The only reason I ask is the pure velocity of the downward movement in the share price at the moment doesn't suggest a sudden stop at 87. I was fascinated watching it bounce off 86p today, support level suggested by another poster, so you could be right. But where does 86-87 come from?

Alan, thanks for your post re Roger. Very typical of him. The BOD believe that long term the mine has a sparkling future and have big plans for expansion. I share his long term view, hence my existing holding and my hope that we will bottom at these levels. Fingers crossed.

Are you saying you are buying the dips again?
Last time it meant you were baling. I don't
remember a Lambrini girl- that must have been
on your old forum- but I am not surprised that
she got "lambasted" by you and your chums. What
was the demeaning name you invented for her?

By the way, you need to ring up Roger and ask if he
thinks zinc is up.

Mario, thanks for blocking my posts. In contrast to my posts you have not helped make me or save me any money. I have received numerous private emails thanking me for the money that I have saved people here. The fact that you will no longer have any opportunity to benefit will not give me sleepless nights!

I remember many years ago someone called Lambrini girl said that the Sp would fall. Many of us lambasted her but she simply read the chart and was right. The chart here says 87 is support. I hope that it holds. The problem is that zinc has no obvious support level and thus far we are following the zinc trend. Some weeks ago I forecast 80-90p Based on GFM chart. If zinc can bottom here and bounce this is buy in territory. If not ...I cross my fingers and hope this is the low.

1.75% of turnover - wonder what Keynes do for that?

Least that's better than 2.8% in 2016.

I'm glad you are listening, Alan. I'm sorry that
you find my efforts to counter the uncritical
happy-clappy culture that some in here are
promoting to be "negative". It is necessary work
and I am prepared to bear the opprobrium.

also another 3.5m options at 40p to be taken on or before the end of this year.

Unless I've missed he's acted on them.

When will I be interested in buying this Sage? I might as well put my thoughts out there.

I have stated that 12c is a prudent EPS to go with given the problems in H1 and the current low POZ. Let's just say 14c to give it some upside.

This is an AIM miner, based in China with a poor governance record (especially recently) paying no dividends. Rio is on a forward multiple of 11 - yield over 5%, shareholder focused, geographically diversified, good corporate governance, attractive to II, ........... surely thats got to worth at least a third premium!

So a reasonable PER expectation of 7 (being kind). This gives a share price of 75. I'd be looking at 70p to make me jump.

Sage - once again your logic is flawed.

What has happened over the last few days? The mining sector has rallied quite nicely - Griffin has fallen dramatically. This has nothing to do with the trend of the POZ it's company specific.

Quite possibly tomorrow the market might decide it's been too harsh and give a share price rise but the current (last few days) share price action is to do with the sentiment towards the company specifically and its general credibility (close to zero).

If people make me money, I don't care if they line their pockets along the way. We need GFM to move to an II shareholder base rather than PIs like me and you, the latter leads to way too much volatility and herd mentality. Common investor metrics imply this is a great buying opportunity. I only wish my other mining stocks weren't also down/underwater for me to switch over from. Sheesh. GLTA

Sage- You better ring up Roger and tell him
that the zinc price isn't up until you say
it is. Can't allow uppity company directors
to sabotage your narrative.

Phillis I have just had a reply from Roger,
I am perplexed as you are as to why the share price is falling.the zinc price is up and we have a director buying lots of shares we have been undertaking a share buyback programme which will continue, and there are no operational issues in griffin mining ltd that would significantly impact the share price of the company, accordingly there is nothing for us to announce.i cannot make an announcement on nothing and we cannot comment on the share price, regards Roger,

I'm tempted to buy more,anyway I'm not worried,good luck
