18/9/2018 12:52 | sage, I can sum up your " advice " in eight words:- GFM is a play on the price of zinc. Your ego has driven you to take chapters to " explain " this stance: boring. | roddiemac2

18/9/2018 12:21 | Hi Sage Read your post re selling GFM shares recently and fully understand your motive however if I sold @ say £1.50 I would have faced a massive CGT situation therefore rightly or wrongly I still believe 100% in GFM that it will be a successful in the future once the full licence is in place ,the machines are tunnelling And of course Zinc prices are back to sensible levels all IMO DYOR CD | neville1940
18/9/2018 10:48 | More ad hominem. And again, you don't define my purpose in visiting this forum. I don't advise others, and if you think you are giving people investment tips or advice, you would be wise to cut it out. That's not advice, just an observation. I don't believe you are wise, so it won't affect you. | rose_by_another_name
18/9/2018 10:39 | Rose I tipped SXX in advance at under 25p. Thereafter in real time I posted when it was indeed at under 25p. You could sell today circa 1 week later at over 30p. In contrast you provide nothing. Also I don't say "everything" I have been extremely specific. In contrast you, the clueless wombat, contribute nothing. Not one single post of yours would make any investor more money or save them money. | sageman

18/9/2018 08:44 | The secret of successful forecasting is to say everything and then retrospectively crow about those bits that turned out to be right. | rose_by_another_name
18/9/2018 08:04 | Zinc stocks going down | dgellissnr
18/9/2018 07:07 | Rose intellectual leap of the day. Look at the price of zinc then look at what price the Sp was when zinc was last at these levels. Then decide if this is a dip! Fortunately since those days we have paid off a lot of debt hence why I hope NAV or just under should be support. We need zinc to bounce strongly off these levels. | sageman
18/9/2018 06:48 | Rose, zinc is pulling the dips lower. I said weeks ago that if zinc continued to fall we could see 80-90 and to watch zinc. As zinc has fallen it has forced me to sell to protect profits. This is about making money and adapting to changing circumstances. All shares sold were in profit. Had I just held my trading shares would be negative 25k instead of sold at 25k profit. So yes buy on dips but only when zinc has stabilised albeit long term the shares are a good buy at these prices. This isn’t rocket science ! | sageman
17/9/2018 22:45 | As I recall, sage was talking about "buying on the dips" while selling off half his holding. | rose_by_another_name
17/9/2018 22:38 | Up, "You really have issues posting divisive clap trap like that" ---simplistic clap trap at that: tedious stuff. | roddiemac2
17/9/2018 22:17 | Hi Phillis, well if you check “granny” sold tranches at much higher levels. Even today as an example 28000 of my children’s JISA sold at 1.01. Bought at 60p. Other stock sold at B/ E 20p. It is called wealth preservation. All my posts in real time and available to check. Holding circa 500,000 GFM with a strong zinc price was fine . With zinc falling rapid action was required , as posted on this board. Nothing wrong with the co. But forward P/E ratios and resultant forward Sp predictions are being hit hard by the collapse in zinc. I hope NAV Holds re Sp. Now holding reduced to under 100,000 shares. No ramping, no deramping just how this Sp always has worked. DYOR | sageman
17/9/2018 20:52 | Rose so you don’t want the Donald himself just someone LIKE him. Someone with his respect for women and understanding of global trade to make us “great”. I watched a film about Pelé the other week and as a child he played for a team called the shoeless ones. It was at that moment that you became the clueless one! Not one of your posts have contained a financially useful idea. By the way a few weeks back I suggested a few companies with my buy in target. SXX went sub 25 , you could have bought and then sold today over 29p. The only reason I still post here clueless one is that a number of people know my true identity and emailed me directly asking that I continue. Read back. Who has sold as zinc has fallen? Who tied in all in with zinc? Who forecast NAV if zinc continued to fall? In contrast what have you managed to come up with except Trump and you want a divi? Well thanks for that Rose! | sageman
17/9/2018 20:34 | The refugees from iii that go on about respect and decency might want to ask themselves why this forum was so much more civil before their arrival. | rose_by_another_name
17/9/2018 20:32 | Another falsehood from sage. I specifically said that Trump is not in a position to run Britain, as it would be a conflict of interest in his job running the USA. I want someone LIKE him to make Britain great again. Of course sage, while reviling Trump, also claims he has no effect on the US economy anyway. Slops-it is not that I want a dividend for the money itself, but to make Griffin appear (at least) to be a serious, mature company, no longer a wildcat startup. | rose_by_another_name
17/9/2018 20:14 | If people are looking for a dividend and to follow the mining sector take a look at BRWM an investment trust, Blackrock World Mining Trust. Currently on a downer like the rest of the sector but the yield is 4.5%. I'm getting about 7.5% on my original purchase back in 2015. DYOR | slopsjon2
17/9/2018 20:05 | Rose , it’s called human decency and respect. Sorry I forgot you want Trump to run our country....enough said! | sageman
17/9/2018 20:02 | Alan, in the real world it is pretty obvious that you are a very decent person. This B.B. is about making money and sharing ideas but it also about common human decency. Most here have it, a few here are walking four letter words. Don’t let those soulless tw*ts grind you down. An 80 year old has much wisdom to impart and no one has a monopoly on good ideas. I am very open to hearing your thoughts. Best . Sage | sageman
