UP a little

One market maker was short of stock and was offering 41p to sellers at the close, the others were on 39p

If they all move quotes up, could see something like 42-44p tomorrow

debt down 5.5 mil
post results production should be well up
prices for zinc and gold up about 30%
if prices stay at this level and output increases 12 month results
should be positive
the recent buyers are probably looking two years ahead

Well the share price didn't drop very much at all. I must say I thought the fall early this morning was a decent buying opportunity as the bad news was out and the second half of the year looks much better.

Today: Cantor Fitzgerald today reaffirms its buy investment rating on Griffin Mining (LON:GFM) and raised its price target to 56p (from 34p).

The results aren't that bad imo and with metal prices heading up the second half should be good.

I've traded GFM alot over the years and always made money. That is the name of the game. Anyone holding for the last few years has made zilch. I said I'll be back should the opportunity arise.

Comes across as a poor performance even allowing for the known difficulties.
Still that's well behind now and fundamentals have improved considerably from Q2.

How are GFM going to be profitable/motivated in 2017 onward without the infernal licence.

I'm surprised but not complaining that the share price has kept >35p. Can't see this poor retrospective result having any adverse affect.

Real struggle followed a surprisingly good but gruelling 2015. No mention of license.

im hoping they are not just value investors
time for active engagement to deal with the board
any attempt would surely be supported by other holders

Who is Andrew Goffe and Overbrook Management Corporation. Nice to know that someone with a big holding is still buying and now has 5.13%.

revenues for 2015 were 59mil dlrs
price of metals produced are up approx 30%
if half of that drops to bottom line
which is likely and production increases also likely
this could turn quickly
