VK - Pity you didn't declare your position on "shorts elsewhere" at the time, giving us poor rampers a chance to share in your good fortune - this is clearly a trend you find hard to depart from. Perhaps the thought of meeting us rampers in Bora Bora didn't appeal to you - such selfishness. Oh! by the way, I shouldn't underestimate the interesting things that can be done with a turnip.

Also, why did Molotov bail for a measly 60K?

Naaa...I guessed it wouldn't break 30 - which is a pity because if it did I would've cleaned up.

I've opened up shorts elsewhere and they did very nicely. This pig of a thing is about as interesting as a turnip.

Investor day been called yet? Got a date? Let me know because I'd love to go - lots of questions and all that you know.

No reason it can't be both, but gold
funds have been rising precipitously,
up over 100% this year so far.

Or maybe it is to do with the recent change in the consensus forecast to the next rate rise in the United States and the strength of the US dollar........

rmjones , I am not easily persuaded of anything. Wise vkilmer is not: just another ego tripper sitting in front of a computer for longer than will be good for his health. The internet has enabled people with nothing to offer to feel important anonymously.

Venezuela has been selling off their gold, which is
probably the reason for the steep recent drop in the
price.

like the zinc price today...yes and zinc stocks slipping away. Was trying to see if smelter costs were still falling and that's harder to find out but they were a month ago. Tick tock ...

Ahhh...you guys.

Yes, I lost a couple of bets but the ones I made more than accounted for the losses and paid for two lovely vacations however, it's true, my vacation fund needs replenishment.

Anyway, my finger is well and truly on the short trigger if this pig breaks 30p - however it doesn't look like it will now but I'm watching (and waiting).

Anybody going to the AGM? Has an "investor day" got a date yet? No? There's a surprise.

Quiet on the board. LME stocks continue to slide. Encouraging.

Rmjones, indeed I called him out several times and as you say he is good with his retrospective entry and exit points. Let's see if he states his short price at the time.

Roddie - don't take a blind bit of notice of VK's apparent wisdom. Only once in three years has he declared a point in time when his position was short - and he admits he made a bad loss on that one. However, countless times when the share price has dropped he (or is it she?) has retrospectively alleged to have made a fortune. He says he is going to "short this pig" again so lets see if he/she has the balls (or boobs?) to declare it up front. On a separate note, I am quite happy to see him/her blab on here daily as I enjoy the humour immensely - so do keep going VK!

Hey roddie - look, I accept I may come across as being a bit ott however I sometimes wonder what it will take before people (that appear to intelligent, savvy investors) will realise that this minnow (and, admittedly, many others on the AIM) are merely just cash points for directors?

At what point does this delusion end?

Keynes takes a huge cut (consultancy? wtf?) and yet Molotov runs the show (although I note he bailed on his options) - how on earth is that not a huge red flag?

Add in the China "factor", the rigged metals game generally (come on - we all know the LME is rigged), no licence, Molotov bailing on his options, the vast oversupply of Chinese steel, AGM's in the Caribbean and viola - my conclusion is that shareholders are just bunnies to be milked.

How could anybody with a brain cell not reach that conclusion?

My opinion only but blimey.

vkilmer,

Your strategy has been the right one : in and out repeatedly, but your ego and mocking of others betrays both you and your investment" status " as wee.

I've done well enough for a couple of trips to the tropics roddie by shorting this pig - but I ain't Donald Trump :-)

Glencore will restart production with the stroke of a pen and there's a heap of Zn in New Orleans which no doubt will be drip fed into the rigged LME casino if past performance is anything to go by.

Anyway - you'll note it's turning down again - I wonder why? Losers.

Glencore are going to recommence production after June.

I'm getting ready to short this pig again.
