Thought I would try a vegan sausage roll for research, it was alright, the taste of salt was overpowering. Would never try another one.

If they are overpriced, why are people queuing up to buy their products? The price of the steak bake seemed quite reasonable to me and it seems to have gone down well. Don't bank on making money if you are a shorter.

people who shop at greggs wear their dad's prison clothes and can barely talk.
and that's being generous.
overpriced and soon to be game over.

Greggs fake steak bake to follow vegan sausage roll

The Greggs vegan sausage roll was one of the most popular foods introduced to the high street this year, with demand so great that stores ran out of the product when it arrived.

Now the bakery chain looks to be planning a follow-up to that success by introducing a vegan “steak bake”.

A label for a vegan version of its bestselling meat pastry has started circulating on social media after being spotted by customer in a Cardiff branch of the store. The photograph suggests the new product will cost £1.55 and has “savoury flavour Quorn myco-protein pieces and diced onions in gravy, wrapped in crisp puff pastry”.

Earlier this month, the firm teased customers on social media by posting a message suggesting it was about…

Must admit I didn't expect to see 2300p again until next year. Happy to be totally wrong.

Happy Christmas everyone :-)

bouleversee,
If you don't have a Greggs near you, just let them know. They are looking for new sites.

Philanderer:

Good heavens! I really must try them, the vegan sausage rolls, that is. Maybe you could drop one in on one of your walks. Am relieved to say that my ISA purchase without selling the non-ISA worked out well in the end and contributed to my 24% ISA p/f gain y.t.d. I have decided to gift the non-ISA Greggs to grandchildren instead of selling them as they continue to be on a roll. Let us know when there is no longer a queue outside. I don't have one near me. Happy Christmas!

Shopping in a very busy Uxbridge this morning and there was a 20metre queue outside waiting to get into Greggs.

There is clearly pent-up demand for Greggs' sausage rolls if the UK Christmas number one single is anything to go by...

My largest too, I think, though I am about to give about half to my 4 grandchildren and if I totted up all the James Fisher shares I had gifted to children and grandchildren they might beat them. There are a few standout winners in my p/fs and rather a lot of miserable losers.
