24/5/2022 15:22 | epo001 Stupid comment Greencore " not keen on buybacks, indicates they have run out of investment ideas." epo001, Is that the same with Barclays "run out of investment ideas." ? LOL .. Barclays shares perk up as the bank commences buyback programme? | johnwise

24/5/2022 11:06 | Greencore Group plc encompasses divisions supplying grocery and other retailers, including all of the major UK supermarkets. The firm serves customers across a range of categories, such as sandwiches, sushi, salads, chilled ready meals, soups and sauces, frozen puddings. Given the ample sources of income, revenue was forced up 33.6% to £770.8m, thus driving up operating profit to £17.2m from £0.2m. Consequently, it implied that return on investment capital surged to 4.5% from 0.6%, which in turn led to a robust EV/EBITDA of 7.45x, hence capturing intrinsic value. As a result, EPS growth hiked 56.7%, which enabled the company to pay a dividend yield of 3.6%. Subsequently, the firm generated a P/FCF of 9.0x, signifying that operating, investing and financing activities were funded effectively, leading to a conservative working capital policy. Despite the plausible financial performance, Greencore is undervalued with respect to its peers, illustrated by the low P/E of 9.5x. Keep up to date with WealthOracle AM | km18
24/5/2022 10:55 | Mkt cap £600.1M, share price £1.13 so about 530M shares issued. £50M buyback over 2 years maybe buying back 45M shares at the current price? Granted the share price is low at the moment but not keen on buybacks, indicates they have run out of investment ideas. That money would IMHO be better spent on developing the business or simply returned to share holders. | epo001

18/5/2022 12:19 | Trading update next weekPossibly a good one Might be but the news for a change | richtea2517
18/5/2022 12:12 | Had this on my watchlist for a while, the only danger right now is technical. The current share price means that it would most likely be relegated from the FTSE 250 in a couple of weeks time at the next quarterly review. That can cause a selling spiral, the good news is that if it is relegated the share price will normally bounce back. I am currently being constantly disappointed with my shares, every time a company I own releases decent results they get marked down! | salpara111
