09/3/2021 13:04 | Greatland Gold secures $50m of development funding UK Investor Magazine - 9th March 2021 Greatland Gold (AIM:GGP), the precious and base metals mineral exploration and development company, today announced its interim results for the six months ended 31 December 2020. At the Havieron project, the company delivered its initial Mineral Resource estimate and secured $50m of development funding. Greatland’s upcoming 2021 exploration season will focus on a “three-pronged strategy” in the Peterson region, according to a statement released by the company on Monday. The company also confirmed it is well capitalised to push forward with exploration programmes in 2021 with cash equivalents of £5.9m. Greatland Gold is finalising plans to conduct further exploration across the company’s 100% owned licences (Scallywag, Rudall, Canning) in the highly prospective Paterson region. Shaun Day, chief executive of Greatland Gold, commented on the company’s results and outlook..... | timberwolf

09/3/2021 11:22 | Well those results are doing nothing for me or the share price. Drilled 7 holes and only released the results for 3. Sell Greatland Gold and buy Newcrest as they seem to be getting more of the action for little money. | tyranosaurus
09/3/2021 11:17 | GGP are in a good position to exploit current and work up future estimates of their resources. | spaceparallax

09/3/2021 09:33 | Greatland Gold says infill drilling results 'outstanding' at its Havieron project Proactive - 9th March 2021 Greatland Gold PLC (LON:GGP) said further infill drilling results were "outstanding" at its Havieron project in Australia. It intersected high-grade mineralisation and further improved grade distribution within the crescent zone. The drilling also returned the best ever result: 120.7m at 9.3g/t gold and 0.18% copper. "At Havieron, additional mineralised zones were identified and further drilling returned the best intercept recorded to date," said chief executive Shaun Day. "This gives us great excitement for the significant, 65,000m growth drilling programme now underway." That drilling programme is expected to be completed by the end of June, while a pre feasibility study for Havieron and an indicated resource estimate are anticipated at the latter part of the year. In December, the AIM-listed company announced an initial inferred mineral resource estimate of 3.4 mln ounces of gold and 160,000 tonnes of copper from the project. The exploration and development company released the update alongside its interim results which saw its pretax losses widen to £2.67mln from £2.62mln. Greatland said it is well financed with £5.9mln in cash as at the end of December 2020, allowing it to carry out its exploration programme across its key projects over the next 12 months. | timberwolf

08/3/2021 23:51 | As of Feb 2021. June 2021. The decline and ventilation shafts commence towards the top of the main ore body within the crescent, which is approx 420m beneath the surface. The length of this decline will be around 3000m ish overall. Q1/22. Stoping tunnels connect the decline to the main ore body. On reaching the high grade ore body they will extract high grade low volume mineralisation. and feed one of two trains @ Telfer (<12mt/year). Sandeep suggested this is the quickest way to extract maximum returns from low volumes of high grade ore. (4 or 5 years to extract the 54Mt of high grade ore). Q3/22. On completion of the FS, a decision will be made to bulk mine the remainder*. If both parties agree – a decline for the bulk mine will be constructed downwards to 1200m and run for approx 8000m. * (At this stage GGP will need to fund their share of the production (if they are still JV’d and haven’t been bought out)). Sandeep: “...Mass production is expected to continue over many years as a consequence of bulk mining. As the mine expands, more income will be generated and this is expected to commence around late 2024…” Z | zoros1
08/3/2021 17:19 | At chickenThey would have made sterilising drills to plot where they made the box cut and decline, happy to be corrected but the waste from the box cut will be just that, waste :(. | telbap
08/3/2021 16:33 | I would asume that the cores would be held until not required so a check can be completed should there be a problem with the analysis. Assume any good muck from holes will be stockpiled until it can be monitored and sent to Telfer. | mikedon1946
08/3/2021 16:27 | A bet all of the core samples alone are worth a pretty penny. Does anyone know what happens to the core samples after results. Also what happens to the ore being removed for the box cut and decline if it contains gold or copper? | chickndinner |
