Gold AISC rise in Q3
MiningNews.net - 4th December 2020

THE average all-in sustaining cost for gold mines in Australia and New Zealand rose in the September quarter, according to Aurum Analytics and PCF Capital Group.

AISC for the quarter averaged A$1422 an ounce, up 3.2% or $45/oz quarter-on-quarter.

The average spot gold price for the quarter rose from $2604/oz to $2669/oz.

The lowest cost producer for the quarter was Evolution Mining's 30%-owned Ernest Henry operation in Queensland, which reported AISC of -$515/oz due to copper by-product credits.

Newcrest Mining's Cadia mine in New South Wales, which also produces copper, reported AISC of $158/oz.

On a co-product basis, Aurum estimates Ernest Henry's AISC as $875/oz and Cadia's as $921/oz.

Kirkland Lake Gold's Fosterville mine in Victoria was third with AISC of $488/oz, but was the lowest cost gold-only producer.

Saracen Mineral Holdings' Thunderbox open pit and underground operation was fifth and the lowest cost producer in Western Australia with AISC of $790/oz, while Evolution's Cowal mine in NSW had the lowest costs for an open pit-only operation at $1026/oz.

There were eight gold mines that reported AISC of over $2000/oz, six of which were in WA.

They were St Barbara's Gwalia ($2592/oz), Newcrest's Telfer ($2513/oz), Superior Gold's Plutonic ($2261/oz), Red 5's Darlot ($2126/oz), Northern Star Resources' Kalgoorlie ($2116/oz) and Wiluna Mining Corporation's Wiluna ($2012/oz)....

Telfer = A$2513/oz.

Apologies for the late reply. ( have been doing the weekly shop!).You are correct in what you say wisteria re reporting of results and I am sure GH wouldn't break the rules. However receiving the results and properly evaluating them, before getting them tabulated in a reportable manner could take some time. The board are getting ready for the AGM, so I am prepared to give them a little time to ensure there are no errors. ;0)Good luck to all holders. Hold tight, we are in for a great ride up to. Christmas. ( fingers crossed).

The remarkable share price progress continues - I suppose last week's news effectively underlined Havieron as a goer and has stolen some of the MRE's potential impact. Nevertheless, it will be good to have the MRE and related assessments of the probable further scope (still requiring definition) of the expanding Havieron resource.
I too would expect heavy hints concerning Scallywag but would expect them to hold back any drilling results to help maintain share price momentum as operations begin at Havieron.

Very exciting times - seldom are any of us fortunate enough to have such a share in our portfolios.

The link I tried to post was to a historic Newcrest exploration report that contained an MRE. Just trying to say that NCM had history for releasing MRE's within their exploration reports and perhaps we could see that again on Sunday night / Monday morning.

The link is contained in this Tweet if it gets past the mods.

I seem to have misunderstood your request,
Proton. Perhaps if your rephrased it a bit
more volubly I would be able to discern your
meaning.

I pasted my post containing the link that
ADVFN censored, said link displayed underneath
in a non-clickable form. I am unable to
demonstrate the ADVFN censoring to a third
party in any other way. You can demonstrate
it to yourself by trying to post a link to
one of ADVFN's censored sites and noting how
it is replaced with [...]. They do this to
the nypost site, but not the left-leaning
news sites.

If you wanted me to post the link that was
censored in paddygall's post, then I am afraid
I am unable to do so, as it was censored. My
response telling paddygall that it was censored
was meant to bring that to his attention so that
he could repost it in a form that would not
attract ADVFN's attention.

As per request:

Actual court cases about voter fraud are being heard
at the moment, so not a mere conspiracy theory. I am
waiting to hear the outcome(s). As for the news, here
is an illustration of how petty and deceptive the usual
sources are:

"McEnany’s MLB husband tells his side of White House
briefing room incident"

[...]

Note that ADVFN has actually censored the link to the
article above, in the New York Post, a major US
Newspaper. Here it is in another form:

The [...] is what ADVFN puts in place of links
that they censor. Often they just change the
first part to https if they don't like the link,
but they have taken to removing them entirely
if they really disapprove. My recent message
on a centamin forum shows an example.

Thanks Paddy. I am still taking your advice and sitting on my hands lol.One thing I slightly different is Scallywag. I am thinking he may hold on until after the AGM. My thinking is that he has already warned us that the MRE may only contain the first area and not the subsequent discoveries, so if the share price starts to falter ( possibly), then he c@n come in with Scallywag results.Whichever way he does it, I think GGP will continue to blossom.Good luck to all holders.

It will be interesting to see how the day pans out DW, If NCM stick to last year's format then they should release the interim update on Monday in Oz (day prior to GGP AGM) so we would see that on Sunday night. There's a high probability that their interims will contain the MRE also. They have history for doing this.

[...]

Also if GH wants to release at least something from Scallywag prior to the AGM then the window is getting very narrow indeed.

I know I wouldn't want to be out over the (blankety blank).
