Good article Timber, thanks.
It would make sense to drill Goliath next( see bellow ).
Even thou I thought it would be the step too far, it makes sense now.
There is no point waiting and remaining idle.
Scally can wait until all legal gymnastics are over.

Small drilling campaign of 5-6 drill holes for 2000-3000 meters would suffice.

New deals and big hits as the Paterson Province enters its prime
STOCKHEAD - 11th June 2020

"The Paterson Province’s status as one of the country’s hottest addresses for mineral exploration has been reaffirmed with the signing of another big farm-in agreement and some of the best drilling results to date from the mammoth Havieron gold discovery.

The spotlight has been on the Paterson since early 2018 when rumours of a major copper discovery by Rio Tinto (ASX:RIO) began to filter out.

Subsequent confirmation of the Winu find by Rio and the discovery of Havieron by AIM-listed Greatland Gold in the same year only intensified the interest.

What followed was a pegging rush that has seen the majors and a host of smaller companies establish or increase landholdings in the region...."

Thanks DW. That's pretty much exactly what I was thinking and indicated in my post # 12163 a couple of days ago. I just thought that you'd maybe seen it actually confirmed, hence my new post.

DW, Reading your post I doubt the lawyers would allow it. If something went wrong they would leave themselves open to litigation they would want the Ts crossed and the Is dotted. Zoo

How far away are these guys from going into production or are they likely to offload the licenses to the big miners?

GH also said that Scallywag would be drilled later in the year. I took that to mean after the legalities and applications were complete.Another poster on the other board researched the application process and if I'm not mistaken, you may need an MRE before that can be done. Not entirely sure on that, but it could be July at the earliest be&one an MRE is even partially done.

Timberwolf. The Rns a few days ago, said that Scallywag and Havieron were on the same exploration licence and would need to be split before mining applications were submitted for Havieron. As Newcrest now have 40% of HAV, I think GH said in his interview that 40% of Scallywag would be held on trust by Newcrest until the applications are completed.Would you drill Scallywag whilst Newcrest held that 40%?I know they are trustworthy, but from a legal point of view, would you risk it?
