Thanks pr0t0n for keeping us informed.

What intrigues me, about this share is how well it has kept up, since the last news release. Normally you would it expect it to drift back, until the next news.Maybe the anticipation of events is contributing to its resilience.

I` expect that drilling activities would resume in July .

A drilling rig is being contracted now for a maiden drilling program to begin in July with steady news flow expected from the project for the remainder of 2020.

Agreed 1hopper.

POG shouldn`t really have an effect here, but who knows.?!
With all this shenanigans and printing going on I can`t see a big take down/
Unprecedented times , there is no way anyone can predict correctly imo.
I always go back to this article - already posted several times ..

Indeed, but H&P valuation was based on high GP?

I would suggest that perhaps GGP, Newcrest and Havieron are a little insulated from GP fluctuations because they're using Telfor to process the gold so their 'production' costs are less than other operators.Newcrest are wanting to extend the life of Telfor and Havieron provides them with that extension.

To what extent would ggp be sensitive to gp? What if gp fell to $1500, say?

At the end of the day it all comes down to three things, drilling results, money and a decision being made. They know what is being found via the drilling and they are not running away. They have or can raise the money. So then they just need to make a decision. What interests me is this. There will be a offer price but whilst the share price is raising the margin between the two priced is closing. Ok various values have been bantered around from 18p to 100p plus. I would be surprised at 100p plus but very happy to say the least. So to my mind is when, not if?One final point at the begining of the year GGP were in London, NC doesn't have a London office but Rio does and there was speculation around that. I did wonder about that? All very good stuff going on and to come methinks.Zoo

Something like that Zoo,
I find it bewildering .
I doubt that GGP`s mgmt would act like that.

If Newcrest sold their shares in Solg, to BHP, then I wonder what they could do with all that money?;0)

Interesting coverage by the ever valuable AFR (behind paywall) Solgold SOLG $SOLG $SOLG.L $CGP #cascabel #ecuador.

...The rift between the management of SolGold and its two biggest shareholders, BHP and Newcrest, has widened after the copper junior's latest fundraising attempt

Again just Newcrest are quoted ''We are considering our position with respect to our representation on the Solgold board,”

One thing I hadn't pickeed up from the small print was that "participants cannot trade the new shares prior to October 10." and of course BHP will be liberated from a pre-existing standstill agreement that prevents it from buying more SolGold shares within a week of that October date.

I think the consensus is Newcrest will report on Thursday morning ( Australian time), so it should be available here late on a Wednesday night. Good luck.

DW it will need to breakout soon if it is a case of orders being filled. Given SVE is going up maybe people are buying in there. Holding both so I'm happy. Some have said recently an update on Monday or Wednesday not sure if this is the case.Zoo

It appears we have a bit of a stalemate at the moment.Holders are keeping their shares tight to their chests waiting for results or higher share price and Market Makers are keeping the price down, possibly to try and fill orders. If great results, then people will cling even tighter to their shares.

Well, it's another last Friday prior to another, expected, exploration report (interim) from Newcrest Mining. Will we see some 'action', following a few days of little movement? Who know's? Get in before the weekend and don't miss out on what next week may bring? Or, maybe, has the 4 day, around 35% rise in the share price to a 12p high on Tuesday, currently around 11.5p, factored in good news already (along with Sprott)? Will we have to wait until the actual report, which may, or may not, subsequently push us higher still?

An interesting few days to come, but, as I've stated before, I believe that this interim may well be more significant, with more telling information, than the previous quarterly report, which covered the period up to the end of March. Since then there's been quite a lot going on with the likes of further step out's and hopefully we'll get more feedback about the breccia zone.

Throw in the possibility of news from GH on Scally next week too, and it could be very interesting indeed!

DYOR & GLA!
