14/12/2022 14:15 | SKYSHIP, I didnt state that this could be done without raising the share price Let's be brutally honest, at the current share price there is plenty of wiggle room for any prospective client to reverse their position and still own a large chunk at an acceptable level. It is purely theory but it will be pretty obvious if it plays out. I'm of the firm belief that we will know soon enough what or who has been behind the decimation of the share price as what has gone on makes no sense whatsoever. We have had Virtually all positive news all year followed by a negative market reaction. The 12th September RNSs would have doubled or trebled the share price of most AIM miners but not Greatland, from memory we were up around 15% in early trading but fell on the day. Something has got to give and in my opinion it will be sooner than later. | mrpiggy
14/12/2022 14:06 | @skyship....cool avatar name :). We have been pegged here for months, so the likelyhood of a medium term stake build is not totally out of the realm of possibilities. Until they are finished buying they have no need to declare, and SD has done them a favour issuing more paper as the year has moved forward to help keep them under the reporting threshold in any case. We have 5.5b shares in issue, so ( not 100% but I thinks it's 3% as the reporting level) is 165m, that's a huge amount to build up even over a number of months. Anyways, I am in agreement as I have been pretty much been saying the same for someTime now. Bottom line is no one will pay money to have a share manipulated for months and months unless they have an agenda. | telbap

14/12/2022 13:22 | MrP.... Re yr above comment - just how do you propose that a mystery client, wanting a large stake in GGP, might be able to both cover his short and reverse his bear position into a similar sized bull position; and do all this without pushing the share price above 9p in pretty short order? The earlier part of you post I agree with 100%. There would appear to be no appetite to sell down below 7.3p; and with all the declared good news, a break through the 8.1p resistance looks the more likely direction of travel. free stock charts from uk.advfn.com | skyship

14/12/2022 10:10 | I believe the client of JPM who is behind the bulk of the shorting will play their hand in the coming days or weeks. All the shorting can achieve is to suppress the share price I very much doubt if they can drive it any lower as it seems to have great support at 7.3 to 7.4 level. They may be able to bore a few holders into selling but anyone who has done the slightest bit of research into what we have at Havieron knows that the current share price is massively undervalued. Im of the opinion that the share price has been driven down to the current level for a client to take a large holding in GGP rather than a buyout. (All in my opinion.) ;@) | mrpiggy
