18/9/2015 08:42 | Like AGM you mean Leeds yes I can see that would be one way to increase the share price . And the R&D spend at AGM is around 50% of what GRPH spend funny old world is it not. Just checked the market cap and AGM is nearly twice that of GRPH with no revenue or product which it can sell only the madness of AIM could you see this situation, with all the shorting and manipulation of share prices. | wskill

18/9/2015 08:21 | Jespal needs to have rethink. Producing & selling wonderfully innovative products from its manufacturing base in Malaysia may work for Sir James Dyson's unlisted company ... but what a UK Aim listed company needs to do, is close all overseas operations and buy a shed in some socially deprived part of the Uk, create a link with a couple of UK Universities and attract research and other Government grants ... and then providing it does not actually incur any production costs, the directors can sit back and watch the share price fly enabling them live on the profits from their options. | leedskier
17/9/2015 20:08 | Pennyshare I was also thinking about Leeds previous post re Ringgit fall against the USD as GRPH product is sold in USD and costs are in local currency which has fallen to a 17 year low against the USD this should also increase margins. And as you have observed palm oil waste is used in Bio fuel production which has also fallen in price will increase margins. | wskill
17/9/2015 20:07 | Thanks for confirming. A £21million market cap. seems very low considering new drilling fluid revenues and nanochem technology. I also noticed that the co. had their first "profitable" quarter at the end of 2014. | pennysharemillionaire2
17/9/2015 20:00 | Your view is the same as mine, so we are both either right or wrong ; | leedskier
17/9/2015 19:56 | I am researching the co. I understand that there are 2 businesses : biofuel and drilling fluids. Most of last years revenues came from biodiesel, so I would guess that margin depends greatly on raw material costs of plam oil. in theory the large drop in palm oil prices should therefore help significantly this current year : There seems to be higher focus on drilling fluids with better margins. Revenues from this business should rise significantly in 2015. Are my above observations correct ? | pennysharemillionaire2
17/9/2015 19:41 | awise355, in the short term it will ease the pressure off the USD, which will help emerging markets and their currencies, because many have borrowed in USD. Oil and other commodities priced in USD, may rise a touch, on the back of any weaker USD. However, the market knows that sooner or later there will, barring Global accidents, be a rate rise at some point and maybe as soon as next month. The markets had probably largely discounted a rate rise this month, and may instead already switched focus to next month. So there could be short term gain followed by longer term pain. | leedskier
17/9/2015 19:37 | With our company spending around 28% of todays market cap on R&D they have a better handle on the future direction of the company than us small investors. I cannot see the company investing this large sums year after year for no return ,after the directors huge success with PURE I can see how they achieved what they did with Pure they just keep moving forward and quietly getting on with the job which in all honesty they have here. My only other experience with Malaysian directors was with Laura Ashley which I bought into when it was on its knees and to be honest they have done an excellent job there regular dividends and profits something that was sadly lacking with the previous British management. My wife even went back to shopping at Laura Ashley and has done so for years now. | wskill
17/9/2015 19:32 | Leedskier in your view how does the fed not moving rate affect markets, cheers | awise355
17/9/2015 19:16 | About £6m I think. | leedskier
17/9/2015 19:13 | With GRPHs market cap at only 50% of last years revenue don't think we need a lot of help telling investors of our undervaluation it may be only 30% of this years revenue after the recent $28m order. Revenue will be increased this year with the increase % of bio fuel used , the anomaly of pricing on the bio feed stock is not there either so profits will be higher, all the new orders are icing on the cake so to speak and at a much higher percentage profit than the bio fuel . With the majority of present pipeline of new products completed and the rest in the testing phase with end users I dare say the R&D spend will be reduced as well. What was R&D last year Leeds £6m or so from memory | wskill
17/9/2015 16:55 | It was very decent of the Company to put out the RNS today to steady the ship ahead of the FED decision. | leedskier
17/9/2015 12:24 | now the DMA shows the 40k@19.5p then 40k@19.75p then 35k@20pthe moment of truth then, either the seller is taken out, or he will be hanging over the price | paul the octopus

17/9/2015 10:42 | So the DMA seller is more concerned in limiting any rise rather than getting a higher price for their shares then, I wonder why they would want less for their holdings strange indeed. | wskill
17/9/2015 09:56 | Leaving aside the Global weakness in stock markets, the achievements of this Company over the last 18 months in developing and selling its graphene drilling fluid products to a growing number of oil companies in a growing number of different countries, is a tribute not only to it but to its jv partner, Scomi Energy Services. | leedskier
