22/8/2014 22:14 | Stig......STI are pumping in £1.25m.....maybe you should have a word with them... | htrocka2
22/8/2014 21:00 | anyone who lost money here deserves to have lost money for being a thick mug punter plenty of warnings were given that this was an aim cesspit disaster biggest clue is always when a stock is so toxic it requires a 'basher-free' thread | the stigologist
22/8/2014 20:54 | Wish I had sold at break even in jan | jibba jabber
22/8/2014 12:24 | From UNITY's website.... 'Lion Gold has entered a Subscription Agreement to acquire further shares in UNITY by way of a Placement to increase it's stake to 19.9% from the current 13.2%' | htrocka2
22/8/2014 12:03 | Well were still in the game and for some reason I am a little more optimistic with STI's involement. It did cost us a lot but my average is reasonable. GLA | hsaundh
22/8/2014 09:48 | Makes me wonder why Unity or Lion Gold did not do a deal. | goldenshare888
21/8/2014 15:46 | Update: Asanko Gold Commences Construction Of Phase 1 Of Its Asanko Mine In Ghana Aug. 20, 2014 11:37 AM ET | The point of posting this headline is because Asanko are Lion Gold by another name...who are also the largest major shareholders in Unity mining, who themselves are major shareholders in GRL....and the above is adjacent to Homase....Every one seems to have some form of connections with their neighbours. | htrocka2
21/8/2014 08:48 | They're pumping in £1.25m at 0.6p.. If this money is used to increase the Homase Licence to 85%. it would send out the right signals. The share price would need to move north from here if STI are to gain the intended 50.6% at the pre-consolidation rate of 0.7p | htrocka2
21/8/2014 07:56 | GRL shareholders sold down the river of course STI are going to be happy about it | the stigologist
21/8/2014 07:25 | and lastly, the association with Goldstone which has given us a foothold in one of the most highly-endowed gold producing regions in Africa with the potential for development, further discovery and consolidation. | russ505
21/8/2014 07:21 | This taken from the Non Exec Chairman's statement in today's Stratex Interims:- "At the AGM in May, I indicated that Stratex was still searching for opportunities where its cash and expertise could be applied to accelerate the exploration process compared with grass roots work. Shortly after the end of the period we reached conditional agreement to acquire a 33.4% interest, with matching warrants which could see this holding increase to 50.1%, in Goldstone Resources, a Jersey-registered, AIM-quoted company. Subject to shareholder consent and approval by The Takeover Panel of a waiver of Rule 9 of the City Code on Takeovers and Mergers, Stratex will invest £1.25 million and appoint two directors to the board as well as nominating an additional non-executive director. Goldstone controls the Homase-Akrokerri gold project in Ghana, which is immediately adjacent to Anglogold Ashanti's Obuasi mine, and currently has a resource of approximately 600,000 oz. We look forward to working with Goldstone management to develop an economic resource incorporating these and possibly other nearby deposits, as well as looking for other opportunities in Ghana. Goldstone also has the Sangola project in Senegal, where there may be synergies with Dalafin, and two early-stage exploration licences in Gabon where the potential needs to be more fully evaluated before committing to further work." | howdlep
19/8/2014 17:48 | Fair enough Ht,I'm still in here so hoping someone ( jurie or ? )can pull the rabbit out of the hat for the GRL shareholders.Good luck with the free ride,I'd certainly be much more relaxed if I were in the same position. | tunnelking
19/8/2014 13:19 | 3m @ 0.4 = 12k you really think that incentivises him ? | the stigologist
19/8/2014 13:00 | Cheers tunnel....your view is respected...'yes' it's been a rough ride, I pulled my initial input out at 8p..and am on a 'free ride'...however Jurie still holds, to my knowledge, about 3m shares (his 1.5m options at 1.5p lapsed yesterday)....and is, in my opinion, currently in 'the last chance saloon'. We've been in contact with him in the past and he is an very intelligent and well respected person. If this folds...I'm losing nothing...he's losing everything. I'm staying in because I believe he can pull it off. | htrocka2
19/8/2014 12:59 | the STI 'deal' was a carve up with GRL management keeping their jobs for delivering GRL assets to STi only losers = GRL shareholders | the stigologist
19/8/2014 12:32 | Ht,heard it all before.to reiterate jurie and the bod have spent millions on exploration and have produced diddly Squat.pp performance and they should have either stepped down or been ousted by now.how can you defend them at this share price.they've made a very tidy living off others money, and today's selling reflects where this company is exactly at.sorry to be blunt, but wake up and smell the coffee. | tunnelking
19/8/2014 10:44 | chill.....my bet is that when the STI deal goes through....in view of the fact that STI dedicated a complete paragraph with specific reference to the GRL/Homase 600 oz project in their rns, that Jurie will be instructed to increase GRLs holding in the Homase licence from 65% to 85% via a feasabilty study with the £1.25m supplied by STI.. Cherry Hill require either a further $1m or a feasibility study for the extra 20%..He'll go for the latter...and give the task to Dr. Schloemann...(all my opinion only of course) (If this is the plan...then it will mean that Homase will finally be monetised via a production operation,) | htrocka2
19/8/2014 10:00 | well this is going well | the stigologist
18/8/2014 10:42 | I thought I'd post a minor detail....a CEO of a company is, broadly speaking, paid to oversee the management of the present together with the creation of the future.....whereas a Managing director is paid to create the future and not manage the present. I noticed that Jurrie's role will been altered to MD as opposed to CEO once the STI deal goes through......hence survival will depend on performance. | htrocka2
12/8/2014 11:58 | okuta's article seem to have inspired a few investors.. | htrocka2
12/8/2014 11:38 | Is something happening here? Fair bit of buying going on | ajseabright
12/8/2014 11:23 | Luckyvince....I've already been there. ie, no 20 (many years ago). | htrocka2
12/8/2014 11:21 | So another 451k shares and i could make the top 20. How cool would that be. How poor does it make me feel at the mo. | luckyvince
12/8/2014 11:09 | I'm not quite sure why this list was released on the 8th....with a major shareholder list dated January 14?..unless to emphasise the fact that the Major holders at Jan/14 held 55.93%...as opposed to the current 83%..(ps some strange names on there) pps..(the 2008 options have been dropped). | htrocka2
12/8/2014 10:32 | One day this share will do something i hope, don't even care now if it tanks to a tenth of a penny, just need some excitement from it............ | jibba jabber |
