By the end of this month those holding this dog today will be wishing that had sold. Before close of biz this afternoon.

February will see the share price CLINGING ON TO AROUND 1p

Fair enough sea but shareholders post struck me as being one of joy rather than a brag and if my memory serves his SCT buy was on the back of his initial sell here and is in a sense the hedge for his paper losses here. I did the same and think I posted up here that my losses had been recovered via another investment.....let's be honest any long term investors (not traders) here are odds on to be looking at losses and having to recover them from elsewhere!.Besides that, still think your post was unfair as being open on here shouldn't then be used as a weapon - odd you only post here, what have you to hide! Lol.Anyway, is it no news here is good news?. Personally I think they have just kept Kili going because GKG cried. All the best.

shareholder - you are absolutely correct - you did say expecting to go over £8 per share, I have just checked that posting - I do apologise.

shareholder - you started the conversation by bragging about buying softcat on this board yesterday at 570p - do not complain when I respond accordingly. If you didn't want the discussion or debate, then why did you bring the subject up?

DD.

I hold several stocks, although I rarely post anywhere else on the site. I do not always like to disclose my positions unless I am required to do so by DTR.

Yes the article was a rehash but would they produce an article basedon a 2 month old operations update?

I don't think they would do that without talking to Gerrard. I presume that GDP are in discussions on something and the expectation is Kili, so information is limited.

However I don't think that the headline could be derived from the update.

Morning DD your thread read OK and thanks for your support.Sea jumps downs the throat of anyone that has different views and he got my post on SoftCat wrong and the PE calculation wrong I am heavily into GDP but don't sing their praises everyday so something is suspicious with Sea's position and motive To me GDP is now a simple punt If GKG gets ride of Kili the share will double. Since we have no news then the negotiations must be going on which is potential good newsGKG just needs to pull this off then I am gone This company has been poorly run and the key

Was. Only a question of time before shyt7 hung himself. He is still scathing mad over my 2p call on GDP and getting out at 11.5p while he stayed in and is now well and truly stuck in.

Needs to grow up!

Ps my last post doesn't come across quite as intended. It just seemed like having a pop at shareholder who invests in multiple company's when you yourself stick to just GDP.......no offence was intended just an observation (will shut up now).Shareholder - Good luck and nice timing!.

nothing to do with a stock market correction shareholder - your post was the day before the results were announced, clearly stating going to 900p, when the stock was already at 800p that day. It dropped like a stone, all by itself.

anyway - you raised re- buying softcat to the gdp board today, long after the matter had been forgotten about.

I agree with u about good news soon though -we all would like to see some progress on all fronts.

Sea you brought this up, as I posted it on the softcat board but you spend a lot of time stalking people like Robson Miller My post did not say 900 it was 800 and it was for the Softcat board but you found it and posted it on this board. As DD said there has been a general stock market correction. Don't know if you noticed that.Softcat will do well and they are on a high PE because they continuously over achieve and grow. They only have 3percent of the marketThey are an example of a sales lead company which GDP clearly lacks as they can't find enough materials. Not worth visiting this again with you as you don't get it You must have an issue Sea as you can't leave Miller Robson alone plus you need to have the last word on everything I am happy for you to do so, I have coved my losses and capital on GDP because of Softcat and wish everyone a bit of luck that is still invested here and are in a loss position Let's hope for some good news soon

Hi dd,

Shareholder shouldn't brag about his purchases then, otherwise he invites comments.
I am sure he isn't that phased by it though!

It is still too expensive in my view and that includes the sector.

Hope your doing well!

Hi sea7Think that's unfair, most stocks have fallen a lot since Oct due to macro issues. SCT are on a forecast PE of 19 and if ahead (as per update today) then doesn't look too bad given its average PE is about 22 and sector average is 21.

shareholder,

on the day before softcat announced its results on the 16th October, you were quoting that it was going to hit 900p a share - it didn't, it collapsed from 800p down to that close yesterday of 589p - it is now trading on a p/e of 24.8 at 694p a share - way too expensive. I trust you booked a gain.

I know Sea likes pointing out other people's share buys and how bad they are so just wanted to see if Sea has seen softcat this morning Managed to buy a load at 570p and it is heading to 800
