Well lets take Kili for a start. The gold price was around 135,000Kes/oz at the beginning of the year and fell to about 120,000Kes/oz, though it has risen in the last month or so.

If you are producing 5kozs that is a reduction in revenue of 75m KeS or about £580k.

All gold mines are geared to the price of gold.

Tick tock tick tock, each week if they are still operating Kili, then it's highly likely to be wiping circa £17k per week off their bottom line.........so far over £34k and counting.Perhaps they have closed up shop early for Christmas.
