19/1/2017 15:58 | In the update 27th October it was stated... A permit has been granted to purchase and transport tailings from Migori county, where KPG has identified significant quantities of good quality surface material. Material from this community initiative will also be added to stockpiled ore. and Lower grade ore stockpiled as a result of the current capacity constraint has increased substantially and further material from surface sources have been added. KPG will process this stockpile in conjunction with run of mine ore. .............. Migori county is miles away from the new plant site, whereas the artisanal tailings at the old site are only 10km away. The artisanal material left at the old site, must be of such low grade it isn't worth bothering with, or someone wants too much to shift it. | sea7
19/1/2017 12:18 | A magical mystery tour around Kili. There is gold in that hill.Probably easier to buy whatever the artisans have looted. | russman
18/1/2017 21:43 | I saw that. I suspect it is a rough private road and can't be used. They said that the artisanal material used at the present plant wasn't economic at the new plant because of transport costs. | kimboy2
18/1/2017 21:39 | They did originally state that they went through lolgorien township, however, we can see a right turn before the town, which looks like it has been used, although I suspect it would not be much good when wet. | sea7
18/1/2017 21:37 | It also gives a much better view of the distance travelled from the mine site to the old plant site. | sea7
18/1/2017 21:34 | Yep, 3d does work well. As you say, the images are likely to be quite old and the new plant site will not be there, if they are. | sea7
18/1/2017 21:29 | If you click 3D you get a sense of the hill. Don't know where the new plant is but I presume the google earth picture is quite old. | kimboy2
18/1/2017 21:26 | Looks like a fairly well travelled dirt track leading upto it. The project is stated at 5km west of lolgorien, which is about where your link is, I believe. | sea7
18/1/2017 21:14 | I think this is the mine at Kilimapesa Hill; | kimboy2
18/1/2017 20:23 | I reckon so. They don't have much room for anything and the roads don't look that hot. It would beinteresting if you could find the new plant position. | kimboy2
18/1/2017 19:37 | does anyone else think that this is an aerial view of kili... If you pan out, three clicks you will see lolgorien at the top of the image. | sea7
18/1/2017 15:02 | An outside possibility perhaps if the money pops up from somewhere. Otherwise I think they will just try and get Kili on an even keel and profitable in the short term. | kimboy2
18/1/2017 12:58 | The majority of the cash has been invested in Kili & "inventory".Kili might make a profit 1 day & wip is sitting in containers. | russman
18/1/2017 11:01 | The 10% is a free carry and at present that is all that goldplat is expected to cede of kilimapesa gold, however, one of the law firms, that counts kili gold as a client, bowmans I think, feels that it is unconstitutional to expect property to be taken from owners without payment, so a challenge is underway. The 35% requirement was broken down into two parts.. the 10% govt free carry - that kili is subject to and 25% listed on a local exchange for large entities, which would result in the 35% requirement. | sea7
18/1/2017 10:55 | sea You will know this better than me but what is the arrangement for the Kenyan government and their share of Kili? I seem to think the mining bill eventually settled at 10%, as opposed to the 35% originally mooted. Is it the case that the Kenyans actually pay for the stake? I am only thinking about this because I am considering the possibility of financing phase 2. $5m isn't a great deal of money after all. Gerard was discussing getting debt finance before Christmas, and they did buy 2 crushers rather than the 1 they actually need at the moment. They were also mooting before Christmas for others miners, or potential miners, to come in with them on the plant. Presumably the size can be scaled up if more material is available. I am sure the Kenyans would be keen. Just wondering if something might come out of the blue on this, while waiting for news of the CIL. | kimboy2
17/1/2017 10:47 | Yes with Trump ascending to the throne in a few days this may also help the POG which indeed will really help Kili. But I have long since given up trying to guess the Gold price. | michaelfenton
17/1/2017 10:12 | Gold seems to be on the move which will help Kili; | kimboy2
17/1/2017 09:18 | Yep, must admit though KB, most companies do not usually miss out on an opportunity for fanfare, bunting, showcasing, canapes, champers and self congratulatory speeches. So I would not be surprised to see a ceremony of sorts. Whilst I did not think that goldplat would waste time on it, perhaps they will. | sea7
17/1/2017 08:52 | That is what I would do. Just wondered if the Kenyans had different ideas. | kimboy2
17/1/2017 07:52 | I would be surprised if they wasted the time and money on a ceremony. Can not see the point in it myself. Start it up and get going. | sea7
16/1/2017 18:49 | Does anyone know if there is an opening ceremony for the new CIL plant? ISTR they rolled out the bunting and some bigwigs appeared when they opened the first plant. | kimboy2
16/1/2017 15:24 | Good to see share price holding at this level. Very nice. lots more to come. | qazwsxedc69
15/1/2017 16:11 | looks like the residents TWEEDLE DUM and tweedle DEE DEE are waking up at last to the POTENTIAL; of Kili only about ten years too late. See how easy you suckers are to bluff. | danielmiller1
15/1/2017 15:22 | Also noticed that VSA are forecasting something like 4-4.5kozs from the new CIL at Kili. If they use their own ore at 2.5g/t they will produce something like 2,300ozs. That would suggest that they are getting quite a bit of artisanal material. ISTR Migori was mentioned. If they can produce their own material around $650/oz then the CIL will produce £1m pa profit. As for the imported material it all depends what they are paying for it but processing will be about $20/t. | kimboy2
15/1/2017 14:32 | Thanks KB, As kili has its own elution plant, it would only be sending gold for final refining to rand, so it would seem like they are not charging a great deal for final refining based on your numbers. | sea7 |
